Abstract: In one embodiment, a system accesses pose probability models for predetermined parts of a body depicted in an image. Each of the pose probability models is configured for determining a probability of the associated predetermined body part being at a location in the image. The system determines a candidate pose that is defined by a set of coordinates representing candidate locations of the predetermined body parts. The system further determines a first probability score for the candidate pose based on the pose probability models and the set of coordinates of the candidate pose. A pose representation is generated for the candidate pose using a transformation model and the candidate pose. The system determines a second probability score for the pose representation based on a pose-representation probability model. The system selects the candidate pose to represent a pose of the body based on at least the first and second probability scores.

The sleeve rotatably jackets the pillar, passes through the cover to be connected to the cap, and has first and second convex portions, first and second concave portions, and a protruding edge located between the second convex portion and the second concave portion. The resilient arm selectively abuts against a first or second position on the first convex portion. When the resilient arm abuts against the first position and the protruding edge is located above the flexible rod, the flexible rod crosses the protruding edge and then collides with the cover to make a sound when the sleeve receives an external force to move downward.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a system may access an image and generate a feature map for the image using a neural network. The system may identify regions of interest in the feature map. Regional feature maps may be generated for the regions of interest, respectively. Each of the regional feature maps has a first, a second, and a third dimension. The system may generate a first combined regional feature map by combining the regional feature maps. The combined regional feature map has a first, a second, and a third dimension. The system may generate a second combined regional feature map by processing the first combined regional feature map using one or more convolutional layers. The system may generate, for each of the regions of interest, information associated with an object instance based on a portion of the second combined regional feature map associated with that region of interest.

Abstract: A power wheel including a positioning device, a wireless communication module, and a controller is provided, where the controller is configured to operate in an active mode or a passive mode. When operating in the passive mode, the controller is configured to: acquire route information and moving information from the power wheel operating in the active mode by the wireless communication module, and acquire relative position information with the other power wheels by the positioning device; and determine a rotation strategy of the power wheel according to the route information, the moving information and the relative position information. When operating in the active mode, the controller is configured to: acquire the route information, and transmit the route information to the other power wheels; and determine the rotation strategy of the power wheel according to the route information. In addition, a cooperative carrying method of the power wheel is also provided.

Abstract: Various embodiments determine relevance of place data by determining whether a place record is relevant based on a set of features associated with the place record. For a given place record, a set of features may be generated based on values of one or more attributes included in the given place record. A given place record may be processed by at least one machine learning model, such as a classifier, which receives as input a set of features of the given place record and outputs a prediction score indicating the certainty or probability that the given place record is associated with, or belongs to, a particular class. The certainty/probability of association between a given place record and a particular class can assist some embodiments in determining (e.g., predicting) whether the given place record is relevant or non-relevant for an intended use, such as a software application for a ride service.

Abstract: A system for parking control of a vehicle in which a transmission parking configuration is omitted is provided. The system includes a shift by wire device that requests a parking control of the vehicle when a parking stage is input by an operation of a driver. An electronic parking brake operates a brake installed on a drive wheel via a relay which is connected to be in a parking brake state when the electronic parking brake receives the parking control request from the shift by wire device. The shift by wire device switches the relay to directly operate the brake to be in the parking brake state when the shift by wire device receives a failure event, which indicates that a normal operation of the electronic parking brake is impossible, from the electronic parking brake.

Abstract: Highly uniform and thin silver nanowires are described having average diameters below 20 nm and a small standard deviation of the diameters. The silver nanowires have a high aspect ratio. The silver nanowires can be characterized by a small number of nanowires having a diameter greater than 18 nm as well as with a blue shifted narrow absorption spectrum in a dilute solution. Methods are described to allow for the synthesis of the narrow uniform silver nanowires. Transparent conductive films formed from the thin, uniform silver nanowires can have very low levels of haze and low values of ?L*, the diffusive luminosity, such that the transparent conductive films can provide little alteration of the appearance of a black background.
