Abstract: A lifecycle of an item is controlled based on a type of the item. Particular item types may be required by law, industry, or organizational policies and procedures to be retained for a defined time period. Often these required retention policies are triggered by events, and thus embodiments are directed to providing event triggered data retention. Items stored in a hosted service environment may each be associated with a label that defines an item category, a retention type, a retention period, and/or a retention trigger for the item. In response to detecting an occurrence of a retention trigger event associated with a person or a project, the items may be queried to determine each item associated with an asset identifier identifying the person or the project. The retention period and type for each item may be updated or set based on a retention policy associated with each item.

Abstract: Stable star-structured functional polyolefins and methods of making them, the functional polyolefins comprising a polyolefin bound at any position along its chain length to at least one nucleophile-containing silane of the following formula: wherein Y is a di- or trivalent linker group selected from heteroatoms, C1 to C10 alkylenes, and other groups disclosed herein; Nu is a nucleophilic atom or unsaturation group; R5 is selected from hydrogen, and C1 to C10 alkyls, and other groups as disclosed herein; X is a divalent group selected from linear and branched alkylenes and heteroatom-alkylenes, and other groups as disclosed herein; and PO is a polyolefin having a weight average molecular weight of at least 400 g/mole; with the proviso that at least one of R1, R2, and R3 is selected from the same or different functional polyolefin moieties. Star-structured functional polyolefins are useful as filler dispersive additives in tire formulations and processing aids.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a formulation for printing electronic device comprising at least one functional material and at least one organic solvent based on alicyclic structure. In some embodiments, the viscosity of the organic solvent at 25° C. is from 1 cPs to 100 cPs; the surface tension at 25° C. is from 19 dyne/cm to 50 dyne/cm; and the boiling point is higher than 150° C. The present disclosure also relates a printing process of the formulation and an application of the formulation in an electronic device, in particular in an electroluminescent device. The present disclosure further relates to an electronic device prepared by using the formulation.

In certain aspects, a method of minimizing interference by controlling beam width of a wireless device, such as a user equipment (UE), includes configuring antenna elements of the UE to communicate in a serving cell using a first beam, monitoring a channel quality metric in the serving cell, and re-configuring the antenna elements of the UE to perform mobility measurements of one or more neighboring cells using a second beam broader than the first beam if the metric falls below a threshold value.

Abstract: An I/O board of a VXLAN switch receives a multicast data packet having a VXLAN encapsulation, removes the VXLAN encapsulation, determines that layer 3 multicast forwarding is to be performed for the multicast data packet, and sends the multicast data packet to a fabric board of the VXLAN switch. The fabric board determines that layer 3 multicast forwarding is to be performed by the fabric board for the multicast data packet. When a multicast group member port corresponding to the multicast data packet is a VLAN port, the fabric board sends the multicast data packet to each I/O board on the VXLAN switch. Each I/O board sends the received multicast data packet to a VLAN according to a layer 3 multicast group entry used for forwarding the received multicast data packet. The layer 3 multicast group entry being included in a local layer 3 multicast group table.

Abstract: This invention provides a method for producing standard-compliant application document, in which the steps comprise: inputting a plural of validation rules and guidelines into a rule validation engine. Then, using this engine to validate a plural of fields entered in a study protocol design system, and outputting the study protocol. Further to upload the study protocol to an institutional review board (IRB) review system and/or a statistical review system, and outputting an approved study protocol. The protocol information of this approved protocol can be used by the clinical trial management system to carry out the data collection process. The data collected by this approved study protocol are converted to a standard-compliant document by a data tabulation system. Finally, the test results are validated by the rule validation engine to generate a standard-compliant application document.

Abstract: A social driving style learning framework or system for autonomous vehicles is utilized, which can dynamically learn the social driving styles from surrounding vehicles and adopt the driving style as needed. Each of the autonomous vehicles within a particular driving area is equipped with the driving style learning system to perceive the driving behaviors of the surrounding vehicles to derive a set of driving style elements. Each autonomous vehicle transmits the driving style elements to a centralized remote server. The server aggregates the driving style elements collected from the autonomous vehicles to determine a driving style corresponding to that particular driving area. The server transmits the driving style back to each of the autonomous vehicles. The autonomous vehicles can then decide whether to adopt the driving style, for example, to follow the traffic flow with the rest of the vehicles nearby.

Abstract: Multi-stage treatment methods for the treatment or removal of iron sulfide scales in subterranean operations and operations involving the production and/or transportation of oil and gas are provided. In one embodiment, the methods comprise: identifying one or more types of iron sulfide scale present in a portion of a subterranean formation; introducing a first treatment composition comprising an acid into at least a portion of the subterranean formation to partially dissolve the iron sulfide scale therein; and introducing a second treatment composition into the portion of the subterranean formation after the first treatment composition, the second treatment composition comprising an iron sulfide treating additive selected based at least in part on a type of iron sulfide scale identified in the subterranean formation.
