Abstract: A fan frame includes a central base, a frame wall, and a plurality of static blades radially extending from the central base to the frame wall, each static blade is connected to the central base at a first end and connected to the frame wall at a second end, the central base is provided with a first wire groove, the frame wall is provided with a second wire groove, the first wire groove and the second wire groove are configured for accommodating wires, and the second wire groove has a shape same as the second end of the static blade connected to the frame wall for gathering the wires to shape similar to the static blade. A fan assembly including the fan frame is also disclosed.

Abstract: A control circuit for an isolated power converter includes a first sensing circuit that senses a secondary side output voltage and produces a pulse wave modulation (PWM) signal having a duty cycle that is proportional to a value of the secondary side output voltage. The PWM is transferred across the converter isolation barrier to the primary side, and a primary side circuit receives the PWM signal and outputs a control signal. A controller determines the value of the secondary side output voltage from the control signal and uses the value to control primary side power switching devices of the isolated power converter to regulate the secondary side output voltage at a selected value.

Abstract: An ocular device is disclosed along with methods for the employment thereof. In one aspect, a device for placement into a lacrimal punctum or conjunctival sac of a person includes one or more sensor materials responsive to one or more components of the chemical composition of the person's tears. Each sensor material is configured to present a tear-based color from a plurality of tear-based colors indicative of a medical condition of the person. In some embodiments, phenylboronic acid could be employed as a sensor material(s). In some embodiments, material(s) emitting radiation when excited by other radiation could be employed as a sensor material. In another aspect, methods for employing the ocular device are disclosed.

Abstract: An information processing apparatus used for an additive manufacturing system includes a circuitry configured to calculate a contact area of a contact face of a three dimensional (3D) model that contacts a base member of an additive manufacturing apparatus, calculate an adhesive force that is to occur to the contact face of the 3D model and the base member, rotate the 3D model by changing an angle of the 3D model with respect to a 3D modeling area, calculate a warping force that is to occur to the 3D model when the 3D model is to be formed into a 3D object under each orientation set for the 3D model by rotating the 3D model by changing the angle of the 3D model with respect to the 3D modeling area, and search for a target orientation of the 3D model where the warping force becomes smaller than the adhesive force.

The acquisition unit acquires information on a surface profile of a target three-dimensional object from a reading unit. The target three-dimensional object is a target for a modeling processing. The memory stores, for a plurality of modeled objects, a plurality of modeled object information, and each modeled object information includes surface profile information and internal structure information of the modeled object. The searching unit specifies, from among the plurality of modeled object information stored in the memory, at least one of the plurality of modeled object information based on the information on the surface profile of the target three-dimensional object acquired by the acquisition unit, as a candidate modeled object information for the modeling processing.
