Publication number: 20100092321Abstract: A scroll compressor and a refrigerating machine including the same are provided. In the scroll compressor, an oil supply hole formed in an orbiting scroll guides oil from a space between a frame and the orbiting scroll to a space between a fixed scroll and the orbiting scroll, and an oil supply groove formed at the fixed scroll maintains communication with the oil supply hole, thereby rapidly supplying oil to a bearing surface between the fixed scroll and the orbiting scroll before the oil is introduced into a back pressure chamber. This enhances compressor efficiency by effectively preventing frictional losses and refrigerant leakage in such a compressor, and enhances energy efficiency for a refrigerating machine using such a compressor.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 8, 2009Publication date: April 15, 2010Inventors: Cheol-Hwan Kim, Sung-Yong Ahn, Byung-Kil Yoo, Yong-Kyu Choi, Byeong-Chul Lee, Yang-Hee Cho, Se-Heon Choi

Publication number: 20090035160Abstract: A hermetic compressor and a refrigeration cycle device having the same are provided. An oil separator is installed either outside or inside of a casing to separate oil from a discharged refrigerant and an oil pump driven by a driving force of a motor is used to recollect the oil separated in the oil separator, whereby the separation between oil and refrigerant can effectively be performed and also a fabricating cost can be reduced. Also, an introduction of the separated refrigerant back into the compressor can be prevented so as to improve a cooling capability of the refrigeration cycle device. In addition, the oil pump is driven by the driving force of the motor, resulting in a simple configuration of the compressor and a reduction of a fabricating cost of the compressor.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 29, 2008Publication date: February 5, 2009Inventors: Byung-Kil YOO, Nam-Kyu Cho, Dong-Koo Shin, Yang-Hee Cho, Hyo-Keun Park, Cheol Hwan Kim

Publication number: 20060057012Abstract: A scroll compressor having a function of preventing an outflow of lubrication oil comprises: a lubrication oil separating net installed at an upper surface of a fixed scroll; a lubrication oil separating plate installed at an upper portion of the lubrication oil separating net; and a refrigerant gas guide member installed outside the lubrication oil separating plate at a certain distance. Accordingly, lubrication oil is effectively prevented from flowing out of the casing through the discharge pipe together with a refrigerant gas when a refrigerant gas is discharged. Thus, the lubrication oil always remains in the casing, thereby reducing abrasion of each component. Thus, performance of each component can be improved, and thus compression performance of the compressor can be improved too.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 26, 2005Publication date: March 16, 2006Applicant: LG ELECTRONICS INC.Inventors: Hyo-Keun Park, Cheol-Hwan Kim, Yang-Hee Cho
