  • Publication number: 20100092321
Abstract: A scroll compressor and a refrigerating machine including the same are provided. In the scroll compressor, an oil supply hole formed in an orbiting scroll guides oil from a space between a frame and the orbiting scroll to a space between a fixed scroll and the orbiting scroll, and an oil supply groove formed at the fixed scroll maintains communication with the oil supply hole, thereby rapidly supplying oil to a bearing surface between the fixed scroll and the orbiting scroll before the oil is introduced into a back pressure chamber. This enhances compressor efficiency by effectively preventing frictional losses and refrigerant leakage in such a compressor, and enhances energy efficiency for a refrigerating machine using such a compressor.

  • Publication number: 20090035160
Abstract: A hermetic compressor and a refrigeration cycle device having the same are provided. An oil separator is installed either outside or inside of a casing to separate oil from a discharged refrigerant and an oil pump driven by a driving force of a motor is used to recollect the oil separated in the oil separator, whereby the separation between oil and refrigerant can effectively be performed and also a fabricating cost can be reduced. Also, an introduction of the separated refrigerant back into the compressor can be prevented so as to improve a cooling capability of the refrigeration cycle device. In addition, the oil pump is driven by the driving force of the motor, resulting in a simple configuration of the compressor and a reduction of a fabricating cost of the compressor.

  • Publication number: 20060078452
Abstract: An oil discharge reducing device for a scroll compressor comprises: a refrigerant guiding mechanism for guiding a refrigerant gas of high pressure discharged through a discharge opening of the fixed scroll to a rotor of the driving motor; and an oil separating mechanism penetrated through the rotor and for separating oil contained in the refrigerant gas by a centrifugal force caused by the rotation of the rotor while the refrigerant gas guided by the refrigerant guiding mechanism cools the driving motor as it flows though the driving motor. According to this, an amount of oil leaked to outside of the compressor is minimized, and the driving motor constituting the compressor can be effectively cooled.

  • Publication number: 20060057012
Abstract: A scroll compressor having a function of preventing an outflow of lubrication oil comprises: a lubrication oil separating net installed at an upper surface of a fixed scroll; a lubrication oil separating plate installed at an upper portion of the lubrication oil separating net; and a refrigerant gas guide member installed outside the lubrication oil separating plate at a certain distance. Accordingly, lubrication oil is effectively prevented from flowing out of the casing through the discharge pipe together with a refrigerant gas when a refrigerant gas is discharged. Thus, the lubrication oil always remains in the casing, thereby reducing abrasion of each component. Thus, performance of each component can be improved, and thus compression performance of the compressor can be improved too.
