    Abstract: The present invention relates to a chamfering device and a chamfering method and, more particularly, to a device for chamfering an edge of a glass substrate, comprising: a heating element which contacts a corner of the edge of the glass substrate and makes heat penetrate the edge of the glass substrate; and a moving unit for sliding the heating element along the edge of the glass substrate, wherein the moving unit slides the heating element so that the corner of the edge of the glass substrate is naturally peeled along the moving direction of the heating element so as to continuously generate chips to chamfer the glass substrate.
