Abstract: An apparatus for managing a plurality of wireless sensor networks selects a configuring policy according to a characteristic of each wireless sensor network and configures a network with the selected configuring policy for management. When an error occurs in the wireless sensor network, the apparatus performs error diagnosis based on a configuring policy applied to the error-detected wireless sensor network, infers a cause of the error, and provides an error recovery method corresponding to the inferred cause of the error to the error-detected wireless sensor network.

Abstract: Provided is a pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGVHD) containing an anti-CD137 monoclonal antibody. The pharmaceutical composition containing the anti-CD137 monoclonal antibody as an active component reduces a cytokine produced from a CD4+ T cell, and increases a death of a donor CD4+ T cell, thereby effectively preventing and treating cGVHD, and thus can be useful for allogeneic stem cell transplantation.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for forming a photoresist-laminated substrate including: preparing a laminated substrate having an insulating substrate and a metal layer; coating with an aerosol of metal nanoparticles on the metal layer; laminating a photoresist film on the metal layer coated with the aerosol of metal nanoparticles. The method of the present invention is a environmentally friendly method since an aerosol of metal nanoparticles is used, differentiated from the conventional wet process.

Abstract: A portable terminal with a hinge apparatus is provided. The portable terminal includes a hinge apparatus which pivotally couples a pair of housings together. The hinge apparatus provides a first hinge axis and a second hinge axis which are perpendicular to each other. Abstract: An apparatus and method for controlling data communication in a wireless local area network (LAN) can check a remaining power level of a host computer battery and determine a data transmission characteristic such as a data transfer speed and/or power save mode period based on the checked battery power, and then adjust the current data transfer speed or power save mode period according to the determined value. For example, a controller of a wireless LAN can transmit information corresponding to the determined transmission characteristic to an access point or another station. Therefore, a station of the wireless LAN card can reduce or prevent power of the battery from being abruptly diminished because of use of the wireless LAN.

Abstract: A dual connection member allowing a liquid crystal display unit and a keypad of a mobile phone to rotate and a hinge device thereof are provided. Abstract: A heating unit and a method of fabricating the heating unit are provided. The heating unit includes a heating member provided in a tube, with an outer surface of the heating member spaced apart from an inner surface of the tube. The heating member may be connected to an external power source by a metal piece, rod, and a connecting unit sequentially coupled to the heating member. The heating member, connecting unit and rod provide a stable positioning of the heating member in the tube during thermal expansion of the heating member, thus preventing contact therebetween.

Abstract: An organic light emitting display device includes a scan driver for supplying a first scan signal to a first scan line during a first period and a second period, a second scan signal to a second scan line during the second period, and a light emitting control signal to a light emitting control line during a period at least spanning the first and second periods. A data driver sequentially supplies data signals to an output line during the first period. A demultiplexer is electrically coupled to the output line, receives the data signals and supplies the data signals to data lines which are connected to pixels. Each pixel receives one of the data signals during the first period, compensates a threshold voltage of a driving transistor during the second period, and generates light with a brightness corresponding to the one of the data signals after the second period.

Abstract: Controlling heat generated by a computer includes using a thermal sensor configured to monitor temperature of a CPU, a peripheral device controller configured to determine if the monitored temperature of the CPU is higher than a threshold temperature, and an application program configured to designate one or more operating modes for the CPU. The operating modes includes a clock setting and power setting for the CPU based on results from the peripheral device controller. An operating system is configured to implement the clock signal and power settings for the CPU based on results from the application program.

Abstract: A pixel for displaying an image with uniform brightness is provided. The pixel includes an organic light emitting diode (OLED) that is driven by a pixel circuit. The pixel circuit is coupled to a data line, two scan lines, and an emission control line of a display device. The pixel is provided with power from external power supply sources and an initialization voltage source. The pixel circuit includes transistors and a storage capacitor that maintains a voltage at a gate of a driving transistor masking any variation between the threshold voltages of the driving transistors used in various pixels. An alternative embodiment, modifies a leakage path from the gate of the driving transistor to the initialization voltage source. Substantial impact of the leakage is shifted from the gate to drain of the driving transistor. As a result, a substantially uniform brightness is maintained in each pixel.

Abstract: A drum washing machine and a clothes dryer equipped with a thermoelectric module are disclosed. The thermoelectric module includes a heat absorption side and a heat dissipation side which absorbs and dissipates heat at a junction between two dissimilar metals depending on direction of current flow through the junction. The heat absorption side is disposed at a hot air flowing passage. Accordingly, the drying apparatus can increase energy efficiency with minor structural modification and becomes environmentally friendly unlike a conventional drying apparatus using a heat pump.
