    Abstract: Systems and methods for improved convolutional layers for neural networks are disclosed. An improved convolutional layer can obtain at least two input feature maps of differing channel sizes. The improved convolutional layer can generate an output feature map for each one of the at least two input feature maps. Each input feature map can be applied to a convolutional sub-layer to generate an intermediate feature map. For each intermediate feature map, versions of the remaining intermediate feature maps can be resized to match the channel size of the intermediate feature map. For each intermediate feature map, an output feature map can be generated by combining the intermediate feature map and the corresponding resized versions of the remaining intermediate feature maps.

    Abstract: The invention provides a neural electrode, including a current generation device, a first and a second electrode. The current generation device is connected to the first and second electrodes through a conductive metal wire respectively. At least one of the first and second electrodes is a graphene electrode. The graphene electrode has soft texture and desirable stability to tolerate the repeated pressing and folding treatment, very high charge injection efficiency, and desirable in vivo stability, and is configured to electrically stimulate tissues and organs such as hearts and nerves to promote electrical stimulation and repair of neurons, to further promote regeneration of neural functions. The invention further provides use of a mineralized three-dimensional porous graphene foam material to prepare a bone defect filler. The bone defect filler has desirable biological compatibility, promotes cell proliferation, and accelerates and induces osteogenic differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells.

Methods include creating a model that represents relationships between user attributes, content exposures, and performance levels for a target action using organic exposure data specifying one or more organic exposures experienced by a particular user over a specified time prior to performance of a target action by the particular user and third party exposure data specifying third party exposures of a specified type of digital component to the particular user over the specified time period. Using the model, an incremental performance level attributable to each of the third party exposures at an action time when the target action was performed by the particular user is determined. Transmission criteria for at least some digital components to which the particular user was exposed are modified based on the incremental performance.

The first circumscribed rectangular frames and the second circumscribed rectangular frame are respectively generated by recognizing and combining the connection areas in the source image.

    Abstract: A three-level modulation for an isolated multilevel DC/DC resonant converter offers output voltage regulation capability with fixed switching frequency and achieves high efficiency along with soft-switching of the power switches. The three-level modulation enables current balance in all power devices, therefore, realizes better thermal performance and longer circuit life. An efficient control method that combines the three-level modulation with conventional frequency modulation achieves a wide output voltage range with a narrow switching frequency range. At any given time, a control circuit selects one of two different modulation schemes to operate the primary-side switches of the resonant converter based on an output voltage, or to one or more external control signals. Together with a selected device switching frequency and duty cycles, the two modulation schemes generate different voltage waveforms to a primary-side transformer, which are coupled to the secondary-side to provide different output voltages.

The large current that results from such interleaved operation is reduced to acceptable levels, potentially less than the output current ripple of the power converter by providing inversely coupled inductors having a mutual inductance preferably greater than the inductor of the power converter in respective phase legs and in series in the circulating current path to avoid any need to increase the power converter inductance due to the circulating current. The inductor and inversely coupled inductors are preferably integrated into a single magnetic element of compact design.
