  • Publication number: 20110024312
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of packing binder rings for binding documents. In the method, a plurality of binder rings having a predetermined length is held by a fork-shaped jig. Thereafter, the binder rings held by the fork-shaped jig are heat-adhered to a fastening film, and the fork-shaped jig is removed from the binder rings, thus forming a unit packing set. Subsequently, a plurality of unit packing sets is contained in a packing box in such a way as to fold the unit packing sets or stack the unit packing sets on top of one another such that the binder rings overlap with each other, thereby preventing the binder rings from becoming entangled with each other although a user draws the binder rings out of the packing box one by one.

  • Patent number: 7364785
Abstract: A layered film sheet which can coat a sheet-like subject and is folded to coat the subject. In the folded, layered film sheet, an embossed polyvinyl chloride film exists as an outermost layer, an EVA film serves as an innermost layer in direct contact with the subject and a low density polyethylene film, an EVA film and a polyester film are intermediately inserted therebetween. The LDPE film and the polyester film are bonded to the outermost layer and the innermost layer via water-miscible acryl adhesives respectively. The innermost layer is softened and made adhesive at low temperatures and thus, the total coating process can be conducted at decreased temperatures so that the outermost PVC film can be expressed in effective embossed patterns.

  • Patent number: 7063119
Abstract: The laminator with a small film roll has a structure capable of having the small film roll mounted thereto, thus reducing costs required for laminating a target sheet, thereby solving problems occurring due to expensive costs. Furthermore, a feed tray is easily and removably installed, so that a process of mounting the small film roll to the laminator is simplified, thereby most users can easily use the laminator. Also, an upper heating roller of the laminator is able to be replaced by a roller having an embossing function. Therefore, the laminator of the present invention is able to texture the target sheet with various and graceful shapes.

  • Patent number: 6253821
Abstract: A device for eliminating static electricity from protective film of a laminated sheet in a laminator is disclosed. A longitudinal fan is set in the laminator. An air suction port is formed on the bottom wall of the laminator, thus guiding atmospheric air to the fan. An air passage is formed in the laminator so as to guide the pressurized air current from the fan to the rear wall of the laminator. An air exhaust port is formed on the rear wall of the laminator at a position around the rear end of the air passage, thus discharging the pressurized air into the atmosphere. In the fan, a drive motor is installed at one end of a longitudinal housing, while a plurality of longitudinal blades are regularly arranged in the housing so as to form a cylindrical blade body.

  • Patent number: 6145783
Abstract: A device for adjusting a position of two film rolls so as to align the two film rolls with each other in laminators is disclosed. A shaft holder engages with one end of a housing and movably receives one end of a roll shaft. A connection bolt, having a head and an externally-threaded shank provided with a woodruff key, engages with the other end of the housing from the inside to the outside of the housing, with the head being positioned inside the housing and the shank partially projecting from the housing. A bearing is set in the head of the connection bolt and holds the roll shaft passing though the shaft holder. An annular setting lever engages with the shank of the connection bolt at a position outside the housing. An adjusting handle is fitted over the woodruff key of the connection bolt. The above handle has a radial screw hole, with a wrench bolt being movably screwed into the screw hole so as to removably fix the handle to the woodruff key of the connection bolt.

  • Patent number: 6066385
Abstract: A laminator film having a plurality of continuous, fine grooves on its surface in the lengthwise direction of the film. When the laminator film and a target film to be laminated are passed between a pair of hot, engaged rollers, the air between the grooved surface and the target film can be guided out through the grooves while the grooves are flattened by the pressure and heat of the rollers. Thus, it is completely preventive of air accumulation by virtue of their continuous fine grooves, giving a great improvement in adhesiveness, surface smoothness and transparency to the resulting laminated product.

  • Patent number: 6056234
Abstract: A device for adjusting the position of two protective film rolls in laminators having two roll shafts individually having a hexagonal cross-section. The right end of each roll shaft is movably received in a cap. A bolt, having a circular head, a woodruff key part and an externally-threaded part, is fitted into a semicircular hole of the cap at the woodruff key part. The bolt also passes through a hole of a right-hand bracket of the laminator prior to engaging with a tension adjusting handle at the externally-threaded part. Both a compression coil spring and a first bushing are commonly fitted over the bolt at a position between the bracket and the handle. A bolt part axially extends from the left end of each roll shaft, while two shaft adjusting handles movably engage with the bolt part. Doubled bushings are fitted over the bolt part at a position between the two shaft adjusting handles.

  • Patent number: 6042675
Abstract: A laminating method for objects such as important documents, old documents and other printed matters to prevent a forgery or quality degradation of those objects or to protect the surfaces of those objects. In the lamination method, a released paper sheet, released synthetic resin film or non-released synthetic resin film is laminated using a thermoplastic resin solution, thereby forming a lamination sheet as a medium, so that the resultant synthetic resin thin film on the lamination sheet is subsequently transferred onto an object as the lamination sheet passes through a nip defined between pressing rollers along with the object.
