Abstract: A resource scheduling method for a network slice is provided, where a slice management network element sends a request to a data analysis network element. The request includes service experience requirement information of a first network slice. The slice management network element receives a response sent by the data analysis network element. The response includes information about a first area and/or information about a first time that are/is of the first network slice and that correspond/corresponds to the service experience requirement information. The slice management network element sends information about a second area and/or information about a second time to a network device based on the information about the first area and/or the information about the first time. The network device schedules a resource for the first network slice based on the information about the second area and/or the information about the second time.

The method includes: A first network element receives first information from a terminal device, where the first information includes an analytics identity, and the analytics identity is used to identify a data analytics type requested by the terminal device; the first network element obtains a data analytics result corresponding to the data analytics type; and the first network element sends the data analytics result to the terminal device. According to this application, the terminal device may obtain, through the first network element, the data analytics result corresponding to the data analytics type identified by the analytics identity. This helps the terminal device make a quick response based on the data analytics result, and helps improve performance of the terminal device.

In an embodiment, an access and mobility management function network element determines that a master base station is not capable of continuing to provide a service for a terminal device. The access and mobility management function network element sends a mobility management context of the terminal device to a secondary base station, where the mobility management context is used by the secondary base station to perform mobility management on the terminal device. Therefore, a signaling connection between the access and mobility management function network element and the secondary base station can be quickly established, thereby ensuring service transmission and improving user experience.
