    Abstract: An electric field therapeutic apparatus comprising a D.C. source, an oscillator, a transformer, a rectificating circuit and output electrodes isolated from the environment for creating an electric field adjacent an injured part of a human or animal body to fulfil therapeutic purposes. The electric field is of a potential adjustable within a range of 100-5,000 V, and by adapting a pulse generator, and a switching circuit, this electric field can be formed by a pulse signal or pulse modulated alternating signal. The isolated electrodes can be combined with the conventional splint or bandage according to its different designs.
