Virtual machines in the cloud computing environment can be assigned or associated with pools corresponding to users as dedicated, standby, or preemptible machines. The various states provide users with the ability to reserve a desired level of resources while also allowing the operator of the cloud computing environment to increase resource utilization.

Abstract: Systems and methods provide for text normalization or inverse text normalization using a hybrid language system that combines rule-based processing with neural or learned processing. For example, a hybrid rule-based and neural approach identifies semiotic tokens within a textual input and generates a set of potential plain-text conversions of the semiotic tokens. The plain-text conversions are weighted and evaluated by a trained language model that rescores the plain-text conversion based on context to identify a highest scoring plain-text conversion for further processing within a language system pipeline.

Abstract: This disclosure discloses a timer processing method, an apparatus, an electronic device, and a computer-readable storage medium. The timer processing method includes: determining a type of a timer used by a physical machine before a virtual machine starts, wherein the virtual machine runs on the physical machine; determining a first time and a first deadline of the virtual machine which are before the virtual machine starts; in a case where the timer used by the physical machine is a first-type timer, adjusting a time of the first-type timer to a second time corresponding to the first time and adjusting a deadline of the first-type timer to a second deadline corresponding to the first deadline to obtain an adjusted first-type timer; and configuring the adjusted first-type timer as a timer of the virtual machine.

Abstract: An arrayed waveguide grating (AWG) can have a reusable delay line, a plurality of coupling devices, and a free propagation region (FPR). The delay line can have a continuous first waveguide connected to receive a plurality of wavelengths. Each coupling device can have a second waveguide coupled to a respective portion of the continuous first waveguide. The FPR can have input and output ends. The input end of the FPR can be coupled to receive the radiation from each of the coupling devices. The radiation can be directed to spatially-separated output channels based on wavelength at the output end of the FPR. The plurality of coupling devices and the delay line are configured to control power and phase distributions of the radiation transmitted to the FPR.

Abstract: The invention belongs to the field of battery material recovery, and discloses a preparation method and application of heterosite phosphate. The method comprises the following steps: mixing lithium iron phosphate with a solvent, adding an acid solution, and adjusting the pH to obtain an acidic lithium iron phosphate liquid; adding a transition metal additive to the acidic lithium iron phosphate liquid, and performing leaching in an intensifying micro-environment, followed by filtrating to obtain heterosite iron phosphate and a lithium-rich solution. The leaching rate of lithium in the leaching solution reaches 90.5-99.9%, and both of the iron and phosphorus content in the leaching solution are less than 0.1 ppm; the recovered heterosite iron phosphate has a purity of 99.9%, and the recovery rate of the heterosite iron phosphate is 99.3%.

Abstract: An automatic fire-extinguishing system and method for a cable tunnel. The system includes an inspection robot, a positioning robot, and guide rails fixed on an inner top of the tunnel, where the inspection robot and the positioning robot are connected to the guide rails respectively, and the positioning robot is arranged in a groove of the inspection robot and able to be moved by the inspection robot along the guide rails; and the positioning robot is able to independently enter and exit an inner space of the inspection robot along the guide rails, and the positioning robot is configured to control a built-in fire-extinguishing mechanism to extinguish fire at a position with a preset distance from a fire source. Both fire-fighting medium docking and fire extinguishing are realized; a quick access to a battery is realized and fire-extinguishing inspection efficiency of a cable tunnel is improved.
