  • Patent number: 10536402
Abstract: Examples are generally directed towards context-sensitive generation of conversational responses. Context-message-response n-tuples are extracted from at least one source of conversational data to generate a set of training context-message-response n-tuples. A response generation engine is trained on the set of training context-message-response n-tuples. The trained response generation engine automatically generates a context-sensitive response based on a user generated input message and conversational context data. A digital assistant utilizes the trained response generation engine to generate context-sensitive, natural language responses that are pertinent to user queries.

  • Patent number: 9967211
Abstract: Examples are generally directed towards automatic assessment of machine generated conversational responses. Context-message-response n-tuples are extracted from at least one source of conversational data to generate a set of multi-reference responses. A response in the set of multi-reference responses includes it context-message data pair and rating. The rating indicates a quality of the response relative to the context-message data pair. A response assessment engine generates a metric score for a machine-generated response based on an assessment metric and the set of multi-reference responses. The metric score indicates a quality of the machine-generated conversational response relative to a user-generated message and a context of the user-generated message. A response generation system of a computing device, such as a digital assistant, is optimized and adjusted based on the metric score to improve the accuracy, quality, and relevance of responses output to the user.

  • Patent number: 9870356
Abstract: Functionality is described herein for determining the intents of linguistic items (such as queries), to produce intent output information. For some linguistic items, the functionality deterministically assigns intents to the linguistic items based on known intent labels, which, in turn, may be obtained or derived from a knowledge graph or other type of knowledge resource. For other linguistic items, the functionality infers the intents of the linguistic items based on selection log data (such as click log data provided by a search system). In some instances, the intent output information may reveal new intents that are not represented by the known intent labels. In one implementation, the functionality can use the intent output information to train a language understanding model.

  • Patent number: 9056323
Abstract: The present invention is provided with a rich air sprayer component, which is disposed with a fixation part. The fixation part is disposed with an inlet part and an air enriching part. The inlet part is disposed with at least an inlet hole; the air enriching part is disposed with an air hole; the sectional area of the cavity of the air enriching part is larger than the sectional area of the inlet hole, making that negative pressure generates when water flows into the air enriching part from the inlet hole and air gets in from outside, air and water flow mix to form gas-water mixture, the sectional area of the cavity of the air enriching part is gradually narrowed, so that the gas-water mixture is dashed on the inner wall of the air enriching part to make water flow drawn air enough. It has advantages as below: the gas-water mixture is rich in air, making the sprayer with water saving, of granular sensation and strong spraying force.

  • Publication number: 20120175438
Abstract: The present invention provides a device that can make pulsed water, including a base 100 equipped with a waterway 200. The waterway 100 consists of an inlet 210, an outlet 230 and a spherical cavity 220 forming between the inlet 210 and the outlet 230. The diameter of the spherical cavity 220 is larger than the caliber of the inlet 210, or that of the outlet 230. Some water flowing from the inlet to the spherical cavity will disperse, and others flows directly downwards. Some water hits the inwall of the spherical cavity and then reflects back to be reflection water. The reflection water impacts other water to turn to the side flowing down along the wall of the outlet. Due to the unstability of effluent, the water stream is along one place, turning to another side the next moment. So that the water sprays as a periodic and circumferential pulsed water.
