  • Patent number: 8078463
Abstract: A method and apparatus for spotting a target speaker within a call interaction by generating speaker models based on one or more speaker's speech; and by searching for speaker models associated with one or more target speaker speech files.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 23, 2004
Date of Patent: December 13, 2011
    Assignee: Nice Systems, Ltd.
Inventors: Moshe Wasserblat, Yaniv Zigel, Oren Pereg
  • Publication number: 20110137190
Abstract: The invention provides an ECG system and apparatus for detecting P-waves even in the patients with arrhythmia. The system is capable of obtaining sufficient data from eight leads and to display an ECG construct with marked or emphasized P-waves.

  • Patent number: 7822605
Abstract: A method and apparatus for determining whether a speaker uttering an utterance belongs to a predetermined set comprising known speakers, wherein a training utterance is available for each known speaker. The method and apparatus test whether features extracted from the tested utterance provide a score exceeding a threshold when matched against one or more of models constructed upon voice samples of each known speaker. The method and system further provide optional enhancements such as determining, using, and updating model normalization parameters, a fast scoring algorithm, summed calls handling, or quality evaluation for the tested utterance.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 19, 2006
Date of Patent: October 26, 2010
    Assignee: Nice Systems Ltd.
    Inventors: Yaniv Zigel, Moshe Wasserblat
  • Publication number: 20090224925
Abstract: Apparatus for detection of human falls, comprises: an acceleration detector, for detecting vibration events, typically placed on a floor, a microphone, located in association with the acceleration detector for detection of corresponding sound events, and a classification unit to classify concurrent events from the microphone and the acceleration detector, thereby to determine whether a human fall is indicated. If the event appears to be a human fall, then an alarm is raised.
