    Abstract: This application provides a security authentication method and apparatus applied to Wi-Fi, to help prevent a password from being shared among a plurality of devices, and implement management of a second device by a first device. In the method, an access point AP receives a first password input by the first device, where the first password is a password preset before delivery; and when checking the first password by the AP succeeds, the AP obtains a second password shared between the AP and the first device, and performs a 4-way handshake with the first device based on the second password. The second password is a shared key between the first device and the AP. Then, the AP can receive a first request from the first device, and send a third password to the first device in response to the first request.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide for a wireless projection method and apparatus. The embodiments relate to the communication field and reduce an occurrence of image tearing and freezing and image quality deterioration during wireless projection to improve a user's experience. The wireless projection method is applied to a Wi-Fi communication system. In the method, an electronic device transmits a scalable video coding slice of a first video frame to a display device in a first video transmission period. The method also includes obtaining channel state information that is fed back by the display device and that is used for transmitting the first video frame. The method also includes selectively enabling a retry mechanism based on the channel state information.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a blocked antenna alarm method, and a communication chip and device that relate to the chip field. The embodiments resolve a problem where a communication device cannot prompt a user that an antenna of the communication device is blocked. In the method, the communication chip obtains an attenuation value of an air interface loopback signal through an antenna of the communication device. The communication chip then determines, based on the attenuation value, whether the antenna is blocked. When it is determined that the antenna is blocked, the communication chip indicates a processor of the communication device to output, to a user, alarm information indicating that the antenna is blocked.

An access point AP negotiates, based on a password, a pairwise master key PMK with a first device based on a twin base password encrypted key exchange TBPEKE protocol, where the password is a shared key between the AP and the first device; and the AP performs a 4-way handshake with the first device based on the PMK. Therefore, in embodiments of this application, a PMK with a high entropy value can be generated by performing a TBPEKE procedure, so that the security authentication method provided in embodiments of this application can help resist an offline dictionary attack.

    Abstract: A cloud-based intelligence to emergency evacuation systems using Wi-Fi access points over data communication systems. A layout of emergency exits for a building being monitored and AP locations within the building layout is configured. A density map is generated from a number of stations within radio range of each AP including stations that are connected and stations that are not connected. An emergency that requires evacuation of people from the building from an emergency system associated with the building is detected. In response, an optimal evacuation route from each AP based on the density map and the building layout is generated. Evacuation instructions for each AP can be displayed on the stations within range of each AP.
