    Abstract: The present application provides a method and system for identifying extreme climate events. The method acquires climate index (CI) grid data of a to-be-identified region within an extreme climate time period, and gradually expands each of event centers in the to-be-identified region, until CI values of all grids adjacent to the event center are not greater than a CI threshold. The method can obtain extreme climate impacted areas of extreme climate events in the to-be-identified region, and can further obtain CI intensities of the extreme climate events by average calculation. The method can obtain three pieces of dimension information on each of the extreme climate events in the to-be-identified region, including an extreme climate impacted area, a CI intensity and a duration. Therefore, the method can identify the extreme climate events more comprehensively.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide methods for managing a robot system. In one method, orientations for links in the robot system may be obtained when the links are arranged in at least one posture, here each of the orientations indicates a direction pointed by one of the links. At least one image of an object placed in the robot system may be obtained from a vision device equipped on one of the links. Based on the orientations and the at least one image, a first mapping may be determined between a vision coordinate system of the vision device and a link coordination system of the link. Further, embodiments of present disclosure provide apparatuses, systems, and computer readable media for managing a robot system. The vision device may be calibrated by the first mapping and may be used to manage operations of the robot system.

A connector prefabricated component including the clamp includes a connecting pipe fixed in the clamp body, wherein the accommodating cavity is provided with a sealing component for sleeving pipe opening. During construction, a straight pipe to be connected is inserted into the sealing component. Then the clamp body is tightened, and the sealing component tightly presses on a pipe body of the straight pipe to achieve sealing.

    Abstract: A flush toilet is revealed. The flush toilet includes a bowl portion, a drain pipe, an inlet channel, a first outlet channel, a second outlet channel, and a jet channel. The first and second outlet channels are turned into different directions from diversion area of the inlet channel. The second outlet channel further includes a curved potion for changing the direction of water flow so that the direction of a second water flow out of the second outlet channel and along a shed portion of the bowl portion is consistent with the direction of a first water flow out of the first outlet channel and along the shed portion. Thus the first and second water flows are out almost synchronously throughout the bowl portion and combined to form a swirling flow which interacts with a third water flow from the jet channel to create a siphon effect for better waste removal.

    Abstract: A resistance spot welding electrode cap contains a groove at the center of the welding contact interface. During welding, because of the groove, the area of contact between the electrode cap and a metal workpiece to be soldered is reduced. In the initial stage, the overall heat generation is concentrated on the outer ring of the weld point and heat dissipation becomes slower, helping a weld nugget to form from the outside to the inside. Due to the presence of the groove, the metal workpiece expands toward the groove at the center of the electrode, thereby increasing the size of the weld nugget and reducing splash and deformation. In comparison with conventional electrode caps, the welding current required to form weld points of the same size is lower, saving on electricity costs, and weld points obtained using the same current have higher strength and stability with fewer welding defects.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a method of preparing solar-grade silicon single crystals by using the Czochralski and float-zone process: in the equal-diameter growth process during the float-zone phase, under the control by the electric control system of a float-zone single crystal furnace, a downward-rotating motor alternates forward rotations and reverse rotations; said downward-rotating motor drives silicon single crystals to rotate by the preset forward angle or reverse angle. The present invention improves the radial resistivity variation of solar-grade silicon single crystals and solves the black heart problem with solar-grade silicon single crystals. Thus, the conversion efficiency of the solar cells manufactured using such solar-grade silicon single crystals can be increased.

    Abstract: A method for preparing TEM sample, comprising the following steps: providing a sample with two pits and a failure region between the two pits, the failure region comprising a semiconductor device; milling the first surface of the failure region, till the cross section of the semiconductor device is exposed; etching the first surface of the failure region; cleaning the sample; milling the second surface of the failure region, till the failure region can be passed by electron beam. A sample can be prepared for a high resolution TEM through above steps. When the sample is observed, it is easy to distinguish the lightly doped drain, source/drain regions from the silicon substrate and observe the pattern and defects in the lightly doped drain, source/drain regions clearly; in addition, it is easy to distinguish the BPSG from the non-doped silicon dioxide in the failure region.
