  • Publication number: 20250031102
Abstract: A method for determining an application context relocation scenario and a communication apparatus are provided, to relocate application contexts in a plurality of EASs together, and avoid a service interruption during application context relocation. The method includes: The first entity determines, based on first information, whether a plurality of application context relocation scenarios include an EAS-decided application context relocation scenario, where the first information indicates that application contexts in a plurality of first EASs need to be relocated together. The first entity may select a target application context relocation scenario from the plurality of application context relocation scenarios.

  • Publication number: 20250023958
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to application server discovery methods and apparatuses. In one example method, a configuration server receives a first request message, where the first request message is used to request to discover an enabler server, and the enabler server is configured to serve a plurality of terminal devices. The configuration server determines a target enabler server based on information about a terminal device group, where the terminal device group includes the plurality of terminal devices. The configuration server sends a first response message, where the first response message includes information about the target enabler server. An application server is discovered with reference to the information about the terminal device group.

  • Publication number: 20250024329
Abstract: A communication method and apparatus are provided, to improve a success rate of application context transfer. According to the method, a source EES may obtain information about at least one group of target EASs from a first target EES based on first information. The information about the at least one group of target EASs is determined based on information about a group of EASs. Therefore, when a plurality of EASs serve a terminal device, the source EES performs application context transfer based on information about a group of target EASs, to improve a success rate of application context transfer.

  • Publication number: 20240325321
Abstract: This invention is in the field of medicinal chemistry and relates to a new class of small-molecules having a N-methyl-1-(naphthalen-1-yl)ethan-1-amine (or similar) structure (e.g.: Formula I) which function as inhibitors of the SARS-CoV-2 papain-like protease (PLpro), which function as therapeutics for the treatment of viral infection characterized with PLpro protease activity and/or expression (e.g., COVID-19), and which function as therapeutics for the treatment of other conditions characterized with PLpro protease activity and/or expression.

  • Publication number: 20210244721
Abstract: This invention is in the field of medicinal chemistry. In particular, the invention relates to a new class of small-molecules having a quinoline (or similar) structure which function as antagonists of androgen receptor activity, and their use as therapeutics for the treatment of cancer (e.g., castration-resistant prostate cancer) and other conditions characterized with androgen receptor activity and/or androgen receptor expression.

  • Publication number: 20160374997
Abstract: An aminoacylation/translation (AIT) system based on the protein synthesis system from the pathogen Pseudomonas aeruginosa, was used to screen chemical compounds for identifying inhibitors of protein synthesis. This system includes elongation factors: EF-Tu, EF-Ts and EF-G, aminoacyl tRNA synthetase (aaRS) specific for phenylalanine, PheRS, and ribosomes isolated from cultures of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Compounds identified using this assay have been shown to contain broad spectrum activity against both Gram+ and Gram? pathogens. Methods of using the identified compounds, as well as derivatives and analogues of these compounds, as antimicrobial agents against bacterial infections are described.
