  • Publication number: 20230196137
Abstract: Computing systems, methods, and computer programs for disruption handling in an environment are presented. The computing system is configured to receive live data, to process the live data, and to store the processed live data. The system is further configured to calculate a current operating indicator from the live data and to forecast a development of the operating indicator without interaction. The system is even further configured to create real-time alerts in response to determining a deviation of the current operating indicator and/or the forecasted operating indicator. Moreover, the system is configured to simulate a development of the operating indicator for at least one action, to determine at least one possible action, and to trigger an action selected from the determined at least one possible action. Finally, the system is configured to generate action data in response to a triggered action and to store the action data.

  • Patent number: 10510024
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products for coordinating operation of relevant systems after a passenger itinerary disruption. Responsive to a transfer request being received that includes at least a portion of a new travel itinerary to replace a disrupted travel itinerary of each of multiple passengers, an inventory system automatically updates counters based on the disrupted travel itinerary of each passenger and the new travel itinerary, and a reservation system automatically updates one or more reservation records to reflect an association between each passenger and the new travel itinerary. Thereafter, a ticketing system automatically performs a ticketing process for each passenger relative to the new travel itinerary, and a departure control system automatically transfers passenger data stored for each passenger in association with the disrupted travel itinerary of the passenger to a record associated with the new travel itinerary.

  • Patent number: 9881262
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and computer program products for modifying re-accommodations. A report characterizing execution of a re-accommodation may be stored in a report database. The report may include an impacted Passenger Name Record (PNR) table that associates each PNR impacted by the re-accommodation with an identifier. The identifier may identify an envelope in a history file comprising a portion of the history file that documents changes made to the PNR by the re-accommodation. In response to receiving a request to modify the re-accommodation, the report may be retrieved from the report database. PNRs impacted by the previous re-accommodation, and changes made to each PNR, may be determined using data in the impacted PNR table and the history files of the PNRs. The impacted PNR table may thereby enable building and execution of a modifying re-accommodation that selectively undoes or redoes a previously executed re-accommodation to implement new solutions to scheduling changes.

  • Publication number: 20160125327
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for building customized packages based upon a disruption impacting an itinerary. Packages may contain a travel solution and a service. The content of each package may be based up on data relating to passenger preferences, data relating to trip context, and availability data retrieved from an availability database, as well as policy-building rules.
