  • Patent number: 9975168
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a heat exchanger tube (1) by bending a metal strip (11), said tube (1) having an internal partition (19) formed by joining the ends of opposing edges (11a, 11b), said partition facing a projection (50) that extends into the heat exchanger tube (1) at a joining zone (22). The method comprises the following steps: locally stamping the metal strip (11) in order to produce a projection at the joining zone (22); and bending the metal strip (11) in order to form said heat exchanger tube (1), such that the projection extends into the tube (1). The invention also relates to such a tube (1) and to a heat exchanger (3) comprising a bundle of said tubes (1).

  • Patent number: 9664144
Abstract: The invention concerns an intake housing 1 for an internal combustion engine, capable of receiving a heat exchanger for exchanging heat between a feed gas stream circulating in the housing and a coolant, wherein said intake housing 1 includes a space 3 for the circulation of the feed gas and a space 2 for receiving the heat exchanger, said receiving space 2 being defined by at least a first metal component 4, 5 including at least one extension 16, 17 that is in one piece with the first metal component 4, 5, said extension 16, 17 at least partially defining the space 3 for the circulation of the feed gas.

  • Publication number: 20140246185
Abstract: A heat exchanger (1) comprises a plurality of stacked plates (4, 12, 14) inside a box (5). The plurality of stacked plates (4, 12, 14) enable an exchange of heat between a first and a second fluid (C, G) circulating in contact with the plurality of stacked plates (4, 12, 14). The plurality of stacked plates (4, 12, 14) comprise a stress area (70) intended to withstand heat variations that may cause mechanical stress. The heat exchanger (1) further comprises a reinforcement (71) that is in contact with the stress area (70) and the box (5).
