  • Patent number: 11370293
Abstract: An electric drive unit for a motor vehicle includes an electrical machine having a stator and a rotor. An inverter having a first switch unit energizes a first phase system (U, V, W) of the stator. A transmission is connected to the rotor for torque transmission. A lubricant circuit lubricates the transmission and/or cools the rotor. A first cooling circuit cools the first switch unit. A lubricant-coolant heat exchanger thermally couples the first coolant circuit and the lubricant circuit. A control device provides a dissipation-increasing operating mode for the first switch unit in order to increase a dissipation heating a coolant of the first coolant circuit. The lubricant-coolant heat exchanger transfers heat from the heated coolant to the lubricant circuit in order to reduce a viscosity of a lubricant.

  • Publication number: 20220131441
Abstract: A rotor shaft of an electric motor, in particular of an electrically excited synchronous machine, is composed of a shaft body and a power transmission module, the shaft body having a tubular open end that faces the power transmission module and forms a seat in which an end of the power transmission module located closer to the shaft body is interlockingly accommodated in the seat.

  • Publication number: 20210006105
Abstract: A rotor for a separately excited inner rotor synchronous machine of an electrically drivable motor vehicle, having a plurality of rotor windings for forming a rotor magnetic field and a rotor core for holding the rotor windings, wherein the rotor core has an annular rotor yoke with a number of rotor poles corresponding to a number of rotor windings. The poles are arranged along a rotor circumference on the rotor yoke and the rotor windings are arranged on the poles, wherein the rotor poles are formed of multiple parts and each has a rotor tooth and at least one pole shoe element separate therefrom. The rotor teeth are formed as a single piece with the rotor yoke, and the pole shoe elements are mechanically connectable to the rotor teeth after arranging the rotor windings on the rotor teeth. Also provided are the synchronous machine, a motor vehicle and a method.

  • Patent number: 7719151
Abstract: An active magnetic bearing (100) with autodetection of position, the bearing comprising at least first and second opposing electromagnets (120, 130) forming stators disposed on either side of a ferromagnetic body (110) forming a rotor and held without contact between said electromagnets. The first and second electromagnets (120, 130) each comprising a magnetic circuit (121; 131) essentially constituted by a first ferromagnetic material and co-operating with said ferromagnetic body to define an airgap, together with an excitation coil (122; 132) powered from a power amplifier whose input current is servo-controlled as a function of the position of the ferromagnetic body relative to the magnetic circuits of the first and second electromagnets.

  • Patent number: 6927517
Abstract: The rotary machine comprises a rotary shaft (2) supported by first and second radial magnetic bearings (5, 6) that are electrically controlled by a control device (13), said rotary shaft being fitted with an axial abutment device (100) comprising a rotor formed by a disk (101) secured to the rotary shaft (2) and interposed between first and second stators (102, 104) formed annularly around the rotary shaft and each including at least one annular coil (103; 105) controlled electrically by a system for servo-controlling the axial position of the rotary shaft. The stator (104) of the axial abutment device (100) further comprises a secondary induction circuit (106), and the disk (101) secured to the rotary shaft comprises a primary induction circuit (107) so that during rotation of the shaft, electricity is excited in the secondary induction circuit in order to supply energy to the radial magnetic bearings.
