  • Patent number: 6127104
Abstract: The present invention concerns a novel film for light boxes, in particular a reversal film for light box displays comprising a transparent support covered, in order, with a red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, a green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and a blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, the support being covered on at least one of its faces with a layer comprising an opacifying compound in a quantity such that the minimum density of the film is between 0.2 and 0.6. This film also has compatibility with existing processing methods intended for reversal photographic products.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 22, 1998
Date of Patent: October 3, 2000
    Assignee: Eastman Kodak Company
Inventors: Gerard M. Droin, Yannick Begel, Didier M. Chigot
  • Patent number: 5948606
Abstract: The present invention concerns a photographic material comprising, in addition to the conventional light-sensitive silver halide layers, a protective top layer.According to the invention, the protective layer comprises, in combination, a surface-active fluorinated polyether and a vinyl polymer. This protective top layer enables the appearance of marks during photographic processing to be prevented without modifying the sensitometric results.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: September 7, 1999
    Assignee: Eastman Kodak Company
Inventors: Yannick Begel, Francois Jean-Marie Bredoux, Gerard Maurice Droin
  • Patent number: 5900357
Abstract: The present invention concerns a silver halide radiographic product intended for industrial radiography as well as a novel radiographic system and a method for forming the radiographic image. The present invention concerns a photographic product designed to be exposed to X or .gamma. radiation, which comprises a support covered on at least one face with a layer of silver halide emulsion which contains an efficient amount of at least one free spectral sensitizing dye. This product, intended for industrial radiography, exhibits improved contrast.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 3, 1997
Date of Patent: May 4, 1999
    Assignee: Eastman Kodak Company
Inventors: Christiane M. Feumi-Jantou, Gerard M. Droin, Yannick Begel
  • Patent number: 5876914
Abstract: The present invention concerns a color reversible photographic product. In particular, it concerns a silver halide photographic product which comprises a mixture of emulsions containing a tabular grain emulsion. This photographic product improves the rendering of the details of the dye image.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 12, 1997
Date of Patent: March 2, 1999
    Assignee: Eastman Kodak Company
Inventors: Gerard M. Droin, Yannick Begel
  • Patent number: 5866311
Abstract: The present invention concerns a color reversible photographic product In particular, the present invention concerns a new photographic product which has a increase in the exposure latitude of one of the silver halide emulsion layers with which a dye-forming coupler is associated without changing the chromatic balance. This increase in the exposure latitude makes it possible to improve the details of the dye image.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 12, 1997
Date of Patent: February 2, 1999
    Assignee: Eastman Kodak Company
Inventors: Gerard M. Droin, Yannick Begel
  • Patent number: 5550010
Abstract: The present invention relates to a color photographic processing method, and a product for color photography comprising, in addition to the conventional layers of light-sensitive silver halides, a non light-sensitive top layer. The method and photographic product enable sensitivity to be controlled during photographic processing. The invention also makes it possible to prevent deterioration of the processing baths.
