Abstract: An electric vehicle including a frame; at least one ground-engaging member operatively connected to the frame; an electric motor operatively connected to the at least one ground-engaging member; an electric powerpack supported by the frame, the powerpack including: a battery pack defining a battery cooling channel; and a plurality of battery cells housed in the battery housing; a charger defining a charger cooling channel; an inverter including an inverter cooling channel, the battery cooling channel, the charger cooling channel, and the inverter cooling channel being fluidly connected together by rigid fluid connections; radiators fluidly connected to the battery cooling channel; a cooling circuit being formed at least in part by the battery cooling channel, the charger cooling channel, the inverter cooling channel, and the at least one radiator; and a pump fluidly connected to the cooling circuit for pumping liquid coolant through the cooling circuit.

Abstract: An electric snowmobile has: a frame having a tunnel; a seat; at least one ski operatively connected to the frame; a drive track disposed at least in part under the tunnel; an electric motor supported by the frame, the electric motor being operatively connected to the drive track; a battery pack connected to the frame and electrically connected to the electric motor; a heater fluidly connected to the battery pack; a pump fluidly connected to the heater and the battery pack for circulating coolant between the heater and the battery pack; a charger electrically connected to the battery pack; and a charging port connected to the frame. The charger and heater are electrically connected in parallel to the charging port such that the heater is powered via the charging port by an external power source selectively connected to the charging port and not via the charger or the battery pack.

The cooling and heating system has: a valve having an inlet, and first and second outlets; a heat exchanger connected to the tunnel or defining part of the tunnel, the heat exchanger being fluidly connected to the first outlet; a heater fluidly connected to the second outlet; and a pump fluidly connected to the inlet. In a first position of the valve; the first outlet is open; and the second outlet is closed. In a second position of the valve; the first outlet is closed; and the second outlet is open.

An actuator, operatively connected to at least one operative system of the vehicle, has a pedal disposed at least in part vertically above the foot board. In a first state of the retainer, the foot board is fixed in a default position by the retainer. The pedal is movable between a first position and a second position. The second position is vertically below the first position and vertically above the default position of the foot board. In a second state of the retainer, the foot board pivots such that at least a front of the foot board is at a position vertically below the default position. The pedal is movable to a third position vertically below the second position.
