  • Publication number: 20210170659
Abstract: An in-line method for marking a substrate made of extruded synthetic material, the method including the steps of extruding the synthetic material through an extrusion die to form the substrate, marking the substrate by scrolling the substrate obtained from the extrusion die between two rotatably mounted and temperature-controlled rollers with an upper roller and a lower roller, one of the rollers having an impression forming the negative of a decoration or a texture to be marked on one face of the substrate, this same roller or the other of the rollers including at least one notch allowing to guide the substrate as it passes through the extrusion die and between the two rollers. An installation can include in line the extrusion die and the marking device.

  • Patent number: 10913196
Abstract: A method of fabrication of a wristband of a watch or piece of jewelry, including: providing a first synthetic material; providing an extrusion line with a die plate for making an extrudate from the first material; providing one or more additional materials distinguished in their properties from the first material; providing a die plate including a first zone defining a profile allowing for fabrication of an extrudate having a hollow tubular profile at least at one of its ends in which the extrudate has a width corresponding to the length of one or two strands of the wristband; the die plate further includes a second zone allowing defining of particular profiles selected from among a flat profile, a curved profile, or a profile with projecting zones.

  • Publication number: 20180345565
Abstract: A method for producing a flexible pouch made of flexible thermoplastic material, including steps of: (i) preparing hot flexible thermoplastic material in a pasty state, (ii) placing a so-called “proximal” pre-molded insert onto a mounting such that the insert is arranged in a ring around the mounting, (iii) coating all or part of the insert with hot flexible thermoplastic material in the pasty state, (iv) locking the blow-mold shells around the insert, and (v) injecting a pressurized gas into the chamber so as to expand the sleeve from inside onto the inner surface of the mold or expand the sleeve from the outside by creating negative pressure inside the chamber.

  • Patent number: 7611025
Abstract: The invention concerns a closure comprising a base portion and a cap forming portion including a top articulated to a ring through a hinge. The strap enables the cap forming portion to be moulded in closing position of the top, tamperproof means being provided between the ring and the top. When the cover is closed, the sensitive zones of the cap are either located in a sealed closed space, or capable of being in contact with a liquid (in solution or spray) and capable of being treated so as to eliminate said liquid, so as to sanitize the closure. Furthermore, the tamperproof means are deformed and ruptured when the top is first opened such that the resulting free ends are sufficiently spaced apart from each other, thus easily revealing to a user whether it has been tampered with.

  • Publication number: 20040234713
Abstract: The invention concerns a cap liner (9) comprising: a middle layer made of a plastic material with gas barrier effect; first and second outer layers comprising each a polyolefin resin and arranged on either side of the middle layer; an intermediate polyethylene layer, placed between the middle layer and each of the outer layers, the intermediate layers being designed to protect the middle layer against moisture and to prevent degradation of said middle layer gas barrier properties. The cap liner can be placed in a cap near its transverse wall or towards the free end of its skirt or on a container neck. It can be planar or thermoformed. The invention also concerns methods for producing a neck-joint cap assembly.
