  • Patent number: 11499929
Abstract: An infrared-detecting device, includes an infrared detector configured to emit a signal representative of the thermal radiation of a hotspot, and a light source configured to emit an incident beam, preferably in a window of UV or visible wavelength. The infrared-detecting device furthermore comprises a synchronizing device connected to the light source and to the infrared detector or to the processing module, and configured to emit a synchronization signal, the infrared detector being configured to be activated in a preset time window depending on said synchronization signal.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 21, 2017
Date of Patent: November 15, 2022
Assignee: CENTRE NATIONAL DE LA RECHERCHE SCIENTIFIQUE
Inventors: Yannick De Wilde, Elodie Perros, Valentina Krachmalnicoff, Rémi Carminati, Albert-Claude Boccara

  • Publication number: 20200333252
Abstract: A method for super-resolution fluorescence microscopy includes the following steps: provoking the stochastic activation of fluorescent emitters contained in a sample to be observed, and illuminating the sample with an excitation light beam having a wavelength suitable for inducing fluorescent emission from the activated emitters; and acquiring a sequence of fluorescence images by means of an imaging system comprising a matrix image sensor; measuring arrival delays of fluorescence photons relative to the pulses of the excitation light beam, with a spatial resolution allowing each photon to be associated with a set of pixels of the matrix image sensor. A device and computer program product for the implementation of such a method are also provided.

  • Patent number: 10684113
Abstract: An optical detection device includes a light source emitting a light beam whose electromagnetic field, a means adapted to divide the beam into a first beam defining a first reference pathway and a second beam defining a second sample pathway, a modulation system frequency-shifting the electromagnetic fields of the two beams, a beam coupler adapted to collect the beams, an optical detection system adapted to detect the signal arising from the interference between the beams and coupled via the coupler, the sample being placed in the sample pathway, the optical detection system comprising an optical detector and a device adapted to measure the amplitude and the phase of the signal, an opaque screen comprising an optical aperture is placed at the level of a zone of a sample, in proximity to the sample, in the sample pathway.
