LCD uses the vacuum tubes disposed on mold frame to fix LCD panel by adsorption to realize borderless design. The adsorption operation is simply and can lessen possibility of breakage when LCD panel expands or shrinks to improve yield rate and competitiveness.

The backlight sources are mounted to a side of the bottom board that is distant from the diffusion plate to correspond to the receiving openings. With the backplane having a bottom board that includes a circumferential frame and braces collectively defining receiving openings and backlight sources being mounted to a side of the bottom board that is distant from a diffusion plate to correspond to the receiving openings, it only need to remove the backlight sources in maintaining or replacing the backlight sources.

The coupling device keeps the coupling distance between a light guiding plate and a light source to remain a predetermined value. The backplane of the invention employs a modular design, the frame of the backplane is divided into a plurality of equilong frame edge member units, and the design is standardized. When the new products of LCD devices are developed, only frame edge members of different number are selected from the standardized modular units for combination and use. The members have a high generality, thereby reducing the development cost of special moulds, shortening the development cycle of products, avoiding the problem that a great deal of stagnant materials are inconveniently handled when developing a single device. Thus, the aim of reducing cost is achieved.

A new positioning structure for light guide panels is used by the edge-lit backlight module and the LCD device of the invention. The light coupling distance between the light guide panel and the light source of the edge-lit backlight module is controlled because the light guide panel is rigidly positioned in the direction facing the light source, so as to obtain preferable light guiding effect.
