Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for providing multiple structures and methods to enable enhanced random access of access point (AP) controlled resources in a wireless local area network (WLAN) to reduce collisions and increase throughput and efficiency, particularly in high density WLAN environments are provided. The techniques disclosed here feature a communication apparatus including a transceiver and circuitry. The transceiver, in operation, receives signals from and transmits signals to at least one access point in a wireless local area network (WLAN).

Abstract: The present disclosure provides communication apparatus and communication method for channel estimation. The communication apparatus comprises circuitry, which, in operation, generates a signal comprising one or more non-legacy long training field (LTF) symbols, each of the one or more non-legacy LTF symbols comprising a plurality of data tones and a plurality of pilot tones, maps a non-legacy LTF sequence to the plurality of data tones and the plurality of pilot tones, and groups the plurality of data tones with nonzero non-legacy LTF sequence values into a first tone group and a second tone group; and a transmitter which, in operation, transmits the generated signal.

Abstract: Communication devices and methods for Coordinated Service Periods (SPs) are provided. The first aspect provides a first Access Point (AP) comprising: circuitry, which in operation, generates a request frame indicating a request to setup one or more Coordinated SPs; and a transmitter, which in operation, transmits the request frame to a second AP. The second aspect provides a non-AP STA comprising: a receiver receives a Beacon frame or an Action frame from its associated AP, circuitry extracts information of coordinated SPs from the frame and a transmitter, transmits a request frame to the AP indicating a request to join the SPs.

A communication apparatus comprises circuitry which, in operation, generates a transmission signal comprising a common field, a user specific field and a data field, the common field including RU information for each of one or more allocations in the data field and the user specific field including one or more user information, each indicating a user-specific allocation among the one or more allocations in the data field; and a transmitter, which, in operation, transmits the generated transmission signal; wherein the user specific field is free from at least one user information for a persistent allocation containing a recurring transmission among the one or more allocations.
