  • Patent number: 9469336
Abstract: Disclosed is an arrangement of an electronic steering assistive device of a multipurpose vehicle. The multipurpose vehicle includes a frame unit that includes a pair of left and right side frames and a cross bar connected to the pair of left and right side frames. The cross bar includes a dashboard cover mounted to a side thereof facing a vehicle body rear end. The cross bar includes a steering mechanism mounted thereto. The steering mechanism includes an electronic motor based steering assistive device, which is arranged closely adjacent to the cross bar and in front of the dashboard cover so that the electronic motor based steering assistive device is kept away from a ground surface.

  • Patent number: 8354222
Abstract: A method for detecting cancer uses a first detection reagent containing a first adsorbent, which is physically adsorbed by biomedical sample. The first adsorbent comprises a long-chain ester wax containing 16-46 carbon atoms or a long-chain alkane wax containing 21-30 carbon atoms and a concentration of the first adsorbent is between 5% to 10% w/w. The present invention could be widely applied for detecting various cancers based on the differential physisorption of adsorbent. The present invention can provide a method for rapidly and non-invasively detecting cancers.

  • Publication number: 20100216179
Abstract: A method for detecting cancer includes providing a biomedical sample, performing a first adsorption step, performing a first desorption step, and performing a first discrimination step. The first adsorbing step includes immersing the biomedical sample into a first detection reagent having a first adsorbent that adsorbs onto the biomedical sample. The first desorption step includes immersing the biomedical sample into a first desorbing agent for a first period of time. The first discrimination step includes measuring an amount residual of first adsorbent adsorbed on the biomedical sample for identifying distribution of cancer cells within the biomedical sample. The present invention could be widely applied for detecting various cancers based on the differential physisorption of adsorbent. The present invention can provide a method for rapidly and non-invasively detecting cancers.

  • Publication number: 20100182682
Abstract: An annulus illuminator of microscope is provided. The collimated light pipe produced by a pair of convex and concave cone mirrors of this illuminator provides illumination of darkfield microscopy. Sliding the convex cone mirror along the coaxial track of the cone mirror pair may continuously change the diameter of the collimated light pipe. Furthermore, this invention provides illumination of brightfield microscopy. A 45° rod-mirror is directly attached to the extension rod of the convex cone mirror for transmitting light from the same or an alternative light source of the microscope. Therefore, the present invention provides with dual-illumination function for both brightfield and darkfield microscopy and may be conveniently adapted to commercial microscopes.

  • Patent number: 6992293
Abstract: This invention relates to a real-time infrared chemical imaging spectroscopic apparatus, including a light source for generating infrared radiation. A test sample absorbs a narrow-bandwidth infrared radiation as a result of a monochromator dispersing the infrared radiation and emits thermal radiation. IR camera collects the thermal radiation to form an image. As such, the present invention inspects the test sample in real time without a huge amount of complicated computation. Thus, the efficiency of inspection is increased and the optical design of the apparatus is more compact.
