Abstract: A cleaning apparatus for removing impurities from exhaust gas includes a gas treating pipe, a liquid supplier, an exhaust gas pipe, and a liquid outlet. The gas treating pipe has an upper section, a lower section, and an intermediate section extending from the lower section to the upper section. The intermediate section has a plurality of bent parts. The upper section has a gas exit. The liquid supplier is fluidly communicated with the upper section of the gas treating pipe below the gas exit. The exhaust gas pipe is connected to the lower section of the gas treating pipe. The liquid outlet is provided at the lower section of the gas treating pipe.

Abstract: A cigarette box includes a box body, a flip-top lid, and a cover. The box body is adapted to receive cigarette sticks therein. The lid is connected pivotally to the box body, and has a top portion formed with an opening that has a size sufficient to permit removal of no more than one of the cigarette sticks from the box body. The cover has a size corresponding to that of the opening, and has a peripheral edge that includes at least one tearable section connected to the top portion of the lid by a weakened seam such that the cover can be torn from the lid at the weakened seam to uncover the opening.

Abstract: A process of producing a non-woven fabric includes the steps of extruding a fiber forming resin through a spinneret to form filaments, passing the filaments through a cooling device, passing the filaments through a set of first rollers, passing the filaments through a heating device, stretching the filaments by passing the filaments through a set of second rollers, which operates at a speed greater than that of the first rollers, and forming the filaments into the non-woven fabric on a conveyor screen belt which advances in a longitudinal direction.

Abstract: A method of producing a non-woven fabric includes the steps of forming fiber strands from a fiber forming resin through a spinneret, drawing the fiber strands from the spinneret by using a drawing air jet device, forming the fiber strands on a conveyor screen belt and advancing the same along a longitudinal direction, and using a swinging air jet device to swing the fiber strands to-and-fro downstream of the drawing air jet device, upstream of the conveyor screen belt and in transverse directions which are transverse to the longitudinal direction. The fiber strands are formed into wavy patterns which overlap and interlace each other in the transverse directions.

Abstract: A vacuum cleaner with dual blowing/suction function includes a main housing having at least one air inlet and at least one air outlet; at least one fan mounted in the main housing and having a suction side adjacent to the air inlet and a blowing the adjacent to the air outlet; a motor disposed in the main body for driving the fan; a tubular member having a first open end connected to the air inlet and a second open end; a blowing duct extending inside the tubular member and having a spout adjacent the second open end; a blowing pipe having an inner end connected to the air outlet and an outer end connected in fluid communication with the blowing duct; and a dust collecting member and a filter member disposed between and connected to the tubular member and the air inlet of the main housing.

Abstract: A circular loom includes an endless raceway assembly and a shuttle sliding along the raceway assembly. The raceway assembly includes an upper ring plate, a lower ring plate, and a rod mechanism interposed between the upper and lower ring plates. The rod mechanism includes a row of outer guide rod units interconnecting the upper and lower ring plates, and a row of inner guide rod units aligned respectively and radially with the outer guide rod units so as to define a confining space therebetween. Each of the inner guide rod units includes an upper inner rod section secured to the upper ring plate, and a lower inner rod section secured to the lower ring plate so as to define an accommodating space between the upper and lower inner rod sections.
