    Abstract: A user input device for use with a controlled device. The user input device includes a substrate; a plurality of sensing electrodes disposed separately on or in the substrate for sensing an object; and a controller electrically coupled to the sensing electrodes and stored therein at least one virtual key allocation table, wherein the controller executes a converting operation to generate a sensed object information according to a capacitance data realized from the sensing electrodes, and generates an input command associated with a specified key in the virtual key allocation table, which corresponds to the sensed object information, for controlling the controlled device. The same sensed object information can be designed to correspond to keys of different definition under different virtual key allocation tables, and/or derive different input commands in different operational.

A metal layer is formed on the substrate first, wherein a material of the metal layer includes silver. A photoresist layer is formed on a surface of the metal layer next, wherein a material of the photoresist layer includes sulfur. A photolithography process and an etching process are respectively performed on the photoresist layer and the metal layer to form the connecting bridges, wherein silver in the metal layer and sulfur in the photoresist layer react with each other to form a silver sulfide layer after the photoresist layer is formed.

At least parts of the hollow portions and at least parts of the conductive portions are alternatingly arranged. The situation of metal peeling can be prevented by slicing the grounding component in the touch panel.

The decoration pattern is disposed on the surrounding area of the transparent substrate to form a frame side part not surrounding the touch-sensitive electrode pattern. The electric-control trace is located in the surrounding area, stacked on the transparent substrate and the decoration pattern, and electrically connected to the touch-sensitive electrode pattern. Since the electric-control traces are with low-visibility characteristic, the electric-control traces are invisible from the transparent substrate.
