The second cutting blade has a first portion pivotally mounted on the first portion of the first cutting blade by a pivot bolt. Each of the extension arms has a first portion pivotally mounted on the mediate portion of the second cutting blade and a mediate portion movably mounted on the second portion of the first cutting blade by a guide pin. Thus, when the first cutting blade is driven by the extension arms to pivot toward the second cutting blade, the guide pin is movable outwardly relative to the pivot bolt to increase a length between the guide pin and the pivot bolt to increase the force arm length and to produce a larger cutting force by the leverage action.

Abstract: A pressing handle is connected to a moveable blade having a hook-shaped engaging slot near the outer edge of an aperture to which a gripping handle fixed blade is pivoted. A containment space is formed by the junction of the gripping handle and a side of the fixed blade. The containment space has an arc-shaped opening, and the fixed blade has a positional aperture at a position corresponding to the opening. An end of an engaging member has an axle aperture and another end forms an engaging end, with a concave region formed between the two ends. A positioning pin passes through the engaging member and a torsion spring and is attached to the positional aperture. A push button-shaped body has a tongue at its lower end, an edge of which extends as a stop, and the tongue and the stop are both slidably mounted in the containment space.

Abstract: A retractable handle assembly includes an outer pipe, an inner pipe, an outer mounting sleeve, a control seat, a positioning post, a movable pin, a control knob, and a link. Thus, the positioning post extends through the through bore of the outer mounting sleeve and is inserted into one of the two positioning holes of the inner pipe to lock the inner pipe onto the outer pipe, so that the inner pipe and the outer pipe are combined solidly and stably to bear a greater load, thereby enhancing the strength of the retractable handle assembly. In addition, the inner pipe and the outer pipe are not in frictional contact to prevent from incurring jam between the inner pipe and the outer pipe, thereby enhancing the lifetime of the retractable handle assembly.

Abstract: A retractable handle assembly includes a shank, an extension pipe, a retractable pipe, a receiving member, an expandable member, a control member, a driving member, and a rotation member. The retractable pipe is movable relative to the extension pipe by rotation of the rotation member to adjust the distance between the retractable pipe and the extension pipe so as to adjust the length of the retractable handle assembly. Thus, when each of the push flanges of the control member is inserted into the respective locking recess of the expandable member by rotation of the control member, the control member is locked by the expandable member, thereby preventing the control member from being jammed due to an excessive rotation.

Abstract: A combination of a pair of gardening shears and a suspension rack includes a suspension rack, and a pair of gardening shears detachably mounted on the suspension rack. The gardening shears include two blade portions each having a distal end provided with a sharp portion. The suspension rack includes a support plate, a locking post, and a safety guard. Thus, the sharp portion of each of the two blade portions of the gardening shears is fully hidden in and surrounded by the safety guard of the suspension rack so that the safety guard of the suspension rack provides an isolating function to prevent a consumer's hand from directly touching the sharp portion of each of the two blade portions of the gardening shears so as to protect the consumer's safety.

In addition, the cutting tool can provide a cutting or shearing fiction and can function as a shovel so that a user can operate the cutting tool to perform two different works without having to replace a different tool, thereby facilitating the user operating the cutting tool.
