Abstract: The present invention provides a capacitive touch sensor and a method for manufacturing the same. The capacitive touch sensor includes at least one transparent insulation substrate and at least one transparent capacitive touch conductor. The capacitive touch conductor is coated on the insulation substrate and formed with a boundary. The capacitive touch conductors are electrically connected to each other to form at least one first and second electrical-conductive set. At least one recess region is defined in the boundary. The recess region increases the light transmittance of the insulation substrate, reduces the necessary brightness of a light source for the capacitive touch pad, and saves the material cost.

Abstract: A capacitive touch panel includes: a substrate having upper and lower surfaces and vias; a first patterned layer formed on the upper surface of the substrate and including first electrode units, each of the first electrode units being connected to a respective one of the vias and including interconnected first electrode pads that are aligned in a first direction; a first insulating layer disposed above and covering the first patterned layer; and a second patterned layer disposed above and formed on the first insulating layer and including second electrode units. Each of the second electrode units is connected to a respective one of the vias and includes interconnected second electrode pads that are aligned in a second direction transverse to the first direction.
