  • Patent number: 6168841
Abstract: A label adapted for use on optical disks including an adhesive portion and an edge strip portion formed near the edges of the label and a release paper. After tearing off the edge strips of the release paper, the label can be adhered to a sheet of paper using the adhesive portion so that patterns or words can be printed on a labeling portion of the label. The labeling portion is provided with an annular portion and a central portion at the center thereof. AFter printing, a through hole of the central portion can be aligned with the central hole of the optical disk so that the label can be directly and conveniently adhered to the center of the optical disk without using any tools.

  • Patent number: 5828365
Abstract: An electric field-induced cordless mouse device with convenient operation is disclosed. The mouse device includes a cordless mouse, a mousepad and a housing. The mouse has a double-head trigger circuit connected to an output of a conventional interior circuit therein for converting a square-wave signal into a pulse signal. The interior circuit and the double-head trigger circuit are connected to a common power supply, and in a preferred embodiment, to a rechargeable battery. A connection point and a plurality of pulse transmitting electrodes are formed on an undersurface of the mouse. The electrodes are connected to the double-head trigger circuit for outputting signals. The mousepad is formed of a flexible pad, a metal sheet and an insulating pad. The metal sheet is made of a metal foil and connected to an RS-232 interface circuit in a computer via a demodulating circuit provided for converting a pulse signal to a square-wave signal.

  • Patent number: 5757765
Abstract: A protection structure adapted for protecting a disc includes a film mounted on an underside of the disc for covering a data reading region of the disc. The film includes an inner rim portion abutting on an inner annular portion of the disc, and an outer rim portion abutting on an outer annular portion of the disc. A plurality of ribs each a extend radially and inwardly from the inner rim portion of the film and each abut on the inner annular portion of the disc, and a plurality of recesses are each defined between adjacent two of the ribs. An annular adhesive sheet forms an adhesive surface which can be adhered on each of the ribs and can be adhered on the inner annular portion of the disc via each of the recesses, thereby securing each of the ribs on the inner annular portion of the disc.
