  • Publication number: 20130091840
Abstract: A shockwave-actuated power device includes a cylinder, a regulating module, and a piston assembly. The cylinder includes a chamber and a filling port in communication with the chamber. The regulating module includes first and second partitioning members and a driving member. The first and second partitioning members are received in the chamber, dividing the chamber into a high-pressure filling section, a shockwave train developing/actuating section, and a high-energy shockwave producing section located between the high-pressure filling section and the shockwave train developing/actuating section, with the filling port located in the high-pressure filling section. The driving member drives the first and second partitioning members to control communication between the high-pressure filling section, the high-energy shockwave producing section, and the shockwave train developing/actuating section.

  • Publication number: 20130032488
Abstract: A method for producing methanol includes dissolving carbon dioxide in water to obtain a two-phase coexistence aqueous solution that is pressurized and heated to a critical state to separate critical state carbon dioxide and critical water. The critical state carbon dioxide is reduced to critical state carbon monoxide. The critical water is electrolyzed to obtain super critical state hydrogen and super critical state oxygen. The critical state carbon monoxide reacts with the super critical state hydrogen to produce methanol. Furthermore, a device for producing methanol is also provided in the present invention, comprising a mixing unit, a conversion unit and a synthesis unit, and which is highly effective in producing methanol and frugal in energy use.

  • Patent number: 8222867
Abstract: The invention provides a battery charging and discharging apparatus and method. The battery charging and discharging apparatus comprises a power source and a plurality of charging and discharging module. The charging and discharging module comprises a current-limiting transistor, a current-limiting resistor, a charging controlling unit, and a discharging controlling unit, wherein both the charging controlling unit and the discharging controlling unit are of battery voltage tracking types. When the charging and discharging module charges a battery, the voltage across two ends of the current-limiting transistor and the current-limiting resistor connected in series is limited to a fixed value by the charging controlling unit. When the battery discharges, the voltage across two ends of the current-limiting transistor and the current-limiting resistor connected in series is limited to a fixed value by the discharging controlling unit.
