Abstract: An electronic device and an associated image processing method are disclosed. The method includes: receiving an image to be processed, and determining whether the image to be processed is a non-standard image; when the determination result is affirmative, automatically converting the image to be processed as a non-standard image into a standard image adapted to a signal output range of the electronic device; and outputting the standard image. With the above method, a non-standard image can be converted to a standard image and outputted without involving manual adjustment of a user, thereby improving image output effects of the electronic device and satisfying user utilization requirements.
