  • Patent number: 11521061
Abstract: A method for distributed neural network processing, the method may include detecting, by a local neural network that belongs to a local device, and based on sensed information, an occurrence of a triggering event for executing or completing a classification or detection process; sending to a remote device, a request for executing or completing the classification or detection process by a remote device that comprises a remote neural network; wherein the remote neural network has more computational resources than the local neural network; determining by the remote device whether to accept the request; and executing or completing, by the remote device, the classification or detection process when determining to accept the request; wherein the executing or completing involves utilizing the remote neural network.

  • Patent number: 9129502
Abstract: A method and range monitoring system for verifying that communication between two communicating units is of satisfactory quality and that the units are within a predetermined range from one another, wherein the units are in non-continuous communication. One or both units test that the quality and distance by sending a signal to the other unit, and expecting a response signal. If no response signal is received, an alert is fired. The check is initiated upon a trigger, such as a timer, a sensed motion, or a user-initiated event such as when the user presses a button.

  • Publication number: 20130265921
Abstract: In a communication environment configured to transfer data from a transmitting end to a receiving end according to a wireless device communication protocol, said wireless device communication protocol is configured with a field comprising a first content, a method for signaling, comprising: replacing the first content of the field with a second content, the second content is a result of a bit manipulation on said first content of the field; transmitting said second content of the field, by the transmitting end, of the second content of the field is requested and transmitting the first content of the field when signaling of the second content of the field is not required; receiving said second content of the field or first content of the field by the receiver end; and determining if a signaling was performed according to said first content of the field or said second content of the field.

  • Patent number: 7277411
Abstract: Data is transmitted and received in a TDMA frequency hopping system by allocating two or more time slots for transmitting identical data packets, and transmitting the identical data packets in the allocated time slots at different frequencies. This requires the transmission of redundant information but reduces the likelihood of data loss. An adaptive scheme may be employed wherein more time slots are allocated for the repeated data transmissions in areas of poor reception while fewer time slots are allocated for the repeated data transmissions in areas of higher quality reception or when higher bandwidth is required.
