Publication number: 20220141425Abstract: Tracking of targets in video captured by a multi-camera surveillance system is often difficult due to incomplete camera coverage and due to the complexities associated with automated recognition in a dense and highly variable environment. The present disclosure embraces a system and method for target tracking in a multi-camera surveillance system that reduces the time required for a user to track a target by offering computer generated search results that include suggestions of candidates found in the video that match (to some degree) the target. When one of the candidates is selected by a user, the search is shifted to other cameras and continued. In this way, the target may be tracked quickly. Further, a playlist of video snippets of the target is accumulated during the search and can be played to show all captured video of the target moving about the facility.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 12, 2022Publication date: May 5, 2022Inventors: Alexander Steven Johnson, Nir Naor, Yaron Ostrovsky-Berman, Zvi Figov

Patent number: 10796155Abstract: Systems and methods of detecting irregular events include the extraction of values for measure in each of a plurality of notifications. The extracted values are stored in a measures database and a distribution is calculated for the values of each of the measures. The extracted values are compared to the calculated distributions to determine if an irregular event has occurred. An irregularity alert is produced if an irregular event has occurred.Type: GrantFiled: March 6, 2018Date of Patent: October 6, 2020Assignee: VERINT SYSTEMS LTD.Inventors: Yaron Ostrovsky-Berman, Ran Gur, Nir Naor, Ran Wronsky, Michael Milman

Patent number: 10217238Abstract: A method of segmenting one or more soft tissue organs in a 3-D medical image includes registering the image to a bone atlas which also lists landmarks of the organs. Voxels of the image are identified as corresponding to listed landmarks of the organs, based on their position relative to one or more known bones in the registered image. At least one organ is segmented using at least one of the voxels identified as belonging to that organ as a starting point.Type: GrantFiled: May 20, 2010Date of Patent: February 26, 2019Assignee: Algotec Systems Ltd.Inventors: Yaron Ostrovsky-Berman, Hadar Porat, Tiferet Ahavah Gazit
