  • Patent number: 11977379
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure assist pilots of aerial vehicles in performing particular operations utilizing improved user interface(s). In some contexts, pilots performing vertical takeoffs or vertical landings cannot visually inspect the environment around the vehicle. Embodiments of the present disclosure utilize virtual elements, including a virtual corridor and virtual vehicle corresponding to an aerial vehicle, to enable improved visualization and control of an aerial vehicle within a particular environment. Utilizing representation(s) of the virtual elements, including a virtual corridor and/or virtual vehicle, embodiments of the present disclosure provide improved user interfaces that assist a pilot in safely controlling an aerial vehicle (even without visual inspection of a real-world environment) during vertical takeoff and/or vertical landing.

  • Publication number: 20230077864
Abstract: A system and method for managing distributed shaping in a computer network. The system including: a plurality of logic nodes, each logic node including: a packet processor configured to determine metrics associated with traffic flows in the computer network; a control processor configured to determine a quality value based on the determined metrics and communicate with each of the plurality of logic nodes; and a shaper object configured to shape the network traffic. The method including: initializing each logic node of a plurality of logic nodes; determining metrics associated with traffic flows in the computer network; determining a quality value based on the determined metrics; communicating the metrics with each of the plurality of logic nodes; and shaping the network traffic flows based on the quality value.
