Recommendations and advise can include on-line visual display components. For example, a user avatar display can be configured to reflect health and wellness activity of the user. The user avatar can be configured to display a current health and wellness state for the user. The avatar can be modified over time to reflect changes in the health and wellness state for the user, based on the user's goal performance. Further, the visual display component can be shared over various social networks to promote improvement in health and wellness both individually and among social groups.
