    Abstract: A multiplexing communication system is provided in which, even in a case where communication uses a multiplex data string in which multiple types of pieces of data that are different in error processing by a multiplexing communication system and a substrate working machine are present mixedly, it is possible to perform the error processing suitable for every type of data. A transmission data composition processing section at a transmitting side performs setting processing for error detection in accordance with a data transfer rate and a data processing time for each of the multiple types of pieces of data, and then multiplexes these pieces of data using a multiplexing section, and transmits a result of the multiplexing.

    Abstract: A multiplexing communication system is capable of maintaining an appropriate response speed of a control with respect to an electromagnetic motor based on an encoder signal during multiplexing and transmission of the encoder signal. A transmission data composition processing section of a multiplex communication device multiplexes encoder signals ENCD1 to ENCD8 output from a linear scale and a rotary encoder into frame data FRMD and transmits the data. The transmission data composition processing section sets the encoder signals ENCD1 to ENCD8 to bit positions of the frame data FRMD respectively corresponding to the linear scale and the rotary encoder. At the bit positions where the encoder signals ENCD1 to ENCD8 are set, the encoder signal ENCD and information showing the presence or absence of the data of the encoder signal ENCD are alternately set for each cycle of transmission of the frame data FRMD.

    Abstract: Provided is an electric apparatus for radio-transmitting a signal between devices by using an optical signal. The electric apparatus is able to continuously perform radio transmission by using an optical signal based on safety standards in a non-normal operating state such an adjustment work, even if safety measures for preventing adverse effects of the optical signal on the human body is suspended. The transmission rate setting unit sets the transmission rate of the signal transmission. The emission intensity control unit sets emission intensity of the optical signal emitted from the light-emitting unit. The notification means notifies a non-normal operating state. The transmission rate setting unit and the emission intensity setting unit, according to the notification means, decrease the transmission rate and the emission intensity of the optical signal while maintaining a bit error rate of the radio transmission set in the normal operating state.
