  • Patent number: 7799894
Abstract: An electrode for an energy storage device containing a polyaminoquinoxaline compound of the following formula (1a) is provided as having a highly densified energy level and being small in size and light in weight. R1 and R2 independently represent a hydrogen atom, a hydroxyl group, a C1-C10 alkyl group, a C1-C10 alkoxy group or the like, R3 and R4 independently represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a cyano group, a nitro group, an amino group, a C1-C10 alkyl group, a C1-C10 alkoxy group or the like, X1 represents —NH—R5—NH— or —NH—R6— wherein R5 and R6 independently represent a C1-C10 alkylene group, —C(O)CH2—, —CH2C(O)— or the like, and n is an integer of 2 or over.

  • Patent number: 6682450
Abstract: A V-belt-type automatic transmission for a vehicle is provided with a drive pulley and a driven pulley, wherein a plurality of centrifugal weights are arranged between a movable pulley piece of the drive pulley and a cam plate. The centrifugal weights are moved in a radial direction by centrifugal force. A wrapping radius of a V-belt wound around the drive pulley and the driven pulley is changed depending on a maximum gear ratio in a low-speed rotation range and a minimum gear ratio in a high-speed rotation range that are set. The movement in a radial direction of the centrifugal weight beyond a predetermined radial distance prevented by a stopper surface at the rotational speed in a middle-speed rotation range, and at least one middle gear ratio is thereby set. This arrangement provides a V-belt automatic transmission providing noise reduction, reduction of machinery wear and facilitates smooth power transmission.

  • Publication number: 20020010047
Abstract: A low noise roller chain includes a rigid roller made of metal and an elastic roller made of elastic material that are arranged end to end and fitted on a bushing between two opposed inner plates so as to jointly form a roller assembly. The width of the elastic roller is 13 to 45% of the overall width of the roller assembly, and the thickness of the elastic roller is larger than the thickness of the rigid roller by 5 to 25% of the thickness of the elastic roller. With the elastic roller thus constructed, noise generated upon abutment of the roller chain with a sprocket can be effectively suppressed without deteriorating the durability of the rigid metal roller. The elastic roller may be arranged in a zigzag pattern in the longitudinal direction of the roller chain.
