  • Publication number: 20080244199
Abstract: A plurality of contents intrinsic values that are values intrinsic to respective contents of a plurality of files stored in one or more first storage devices are calculated. Whether two or more identical contents intrinsic values are contained among the plurality of contents intrinsic values is determined. When two or more identical contents intrinsic values are present, an access destination of a first file corresponding to a first contents intrinsic value from among these two or more contents intrinsic values is changed to a position having stored therein a second file corresponding to a second contents intrinsic value from among these two or more contents intrinsic values.

  • Publication number: 20080065850
Abstract: In the configuration of multiple (M units of) disk subsystems shared from multiple (N units of) hosts, having an exclusive control command that limits access to all disk subsystems temporarily is provided, using this exclusive control command, configuration information of all multiple disk subsystems, for example, performance and a setting change, are acquired in point of time series and stored in a management server database (“configuration information database”), then managed in a centralized manner, a function that associates the file that the application uses with the “configuration information database” is provided using a function that detects the position on the logical unit, and a means that can retrieve the modified contents of the system configuration and time as keys is provided in the “configuration information database”.

  • Patent number: 7290563
Abstract: A main valve reduces an unregulated pressure of a high-pressure gas to a regulated pressure by being interlocked with a diaphragm, which receives the regulated pressure within a pressure regulating chamber and is displaced. A subsidiary valve is interlocked with the main valve through a plunger and reduces the unregulated pressure of the high-pressure gas to the regulated pressure. The subsidiary valve is located such that the force, which accompanies a pressure loss occurring at the subsidiary valve and which the subsidiary valve receives, cancels the force, which accompanies the pressure loss occurring at the main valve and acts upon the plunger. An adjustor adjusts a pressure loss value occurring at the subsidiary valve so as to be equal to the pressure loss value occurring at the main valve.

  • Publication number: 20070016749
Abstract: In order to assign logical devices efficiently to logical units, a disk control system that receives a process command for writing or reading of data from an information processing device, and performs a write or read process of data with respect to a logical device corresponding to a logical unit specified by that process command, includes means for managing logical devices, which are logical storage regions that have been set in a storage region provided by a disk drive, means for storing a correspondence between logical units, which are storage regions that have been set logically, and the logical devices, and means for assigning, when a process command has been received for a logical unit to which no logical device has been assigned, a logical device to that logical unit and performing processing with regard to that logical device.

  • Patent number: 7152149
Abstract: A disk array apparatus that is capable of effecting saving and operation of data with a simple construction. When a host computer sets “write inhibit” or “read/write inhibit” for an LDEV which is set on a first storage device, this setting is registered in an access attribute management table and is also reflected onto a migration management table. A migration control program moves the LDEV for which access limitation has been set to a lower-speed (lower-performance) second storage device or to an external storage device. When the access limitation is released, the moved LDEV is restored to the first storage device from the storage device to which the LDEV has been moved. By performing migration control in interlocking relation to control of access attributes, it is possible to obtain a simple data saving function and data management function.

  • Publication number: 20060151494
Abstract: A fuel container (1) for supplying fuel (F) to a fuel cell is constituted by: a container main body (2) having a sealed structure; an inner container (3) for housing the fuel therein, formed by a flexible bag provided within the container main body; a valve mechanism (4) for enabling/disabling supply of fuel, provided in the container main body (2) and in communication with the interior of the inner container (3); and compressed gas (G) for ejecting the fuel, sealed between the container main body (2) and the inner container (3). All of the structural components that contact the fuel (F) are formed of non-metallic materials. The fuel container (1) may also include an injection valve (5). In this case, a fuel injecting container reinjects fuel (F) into the fuel container (1), such that the fuel container (1) can be used repeatedly.

  • Publication number: 20060141302
Abstract: A fuel supply system for a fuel cell supplies fuel to a fuel cell of an electronic equipment. The fuel supply system includes a pressure regulator for regulating primary pressure to secondary pressure, and a pair of cylindrical fuel cartridges which are connected to a pair of inlets on a primary pressure side. The inlets being provided to both sides of the pressure regulator are arranged in mutually opposite directions. Fuel having primary pressure is took in from the inlets into the pressure regulator. The fuel cartridges are placed to both sides of the pressure regulator along a substantially straight-outer edge of the electronic equipment.

  • Patent number: 6978347
Abstract: A storage system data duplication method for copying data of a plurality of logical volumes possessed by a first storage system to a second storage system includes the steps of: (a) copying the data of the plurality of logical volumes to the second storage system; (b) interrupting copying of the data of the plurality of logical volumes to the second storage system; (c) starting copying of data of one or more of the plurality of logical volumes to the second storage system; and starting copying of data of ones of the plurality of logical volumes other than the one or more logical volumes to the second storage system as delayed from the step (c), shortening a time taken until completion of data duplication on recreation of a group of paired logical volumes in a volume group after remote copy is temporarily stopped.

  • Publication number: 20050263189
Abstract: A pressure regulator include a fluid introducing port; a primary regulating valve for reducing the primary pressure to a secondary pressure; a pressure regulating chamber receiving the fluid from the first pressure regulating valve; a diaphragm which is being displaced in response to the secondary pressure; a shift for drivingly connecting the diaphragm and the primary regulating valve; a pressure-setting section for adjusting a displacement magnitude of the diaphragm; and a discharging port through which the fluid of secondary pressure is discharged. The shaft includes a secondary regulating valve operatively associated with the primary regulating valve so as to further regulate the fluid from the primary regulating valve by opening-closing operations in reverse to those of the primary regulating valve. Hence, the pressure regulation characteristic of the secondary regulating valve against the fluctuations in the primary pressure become reverse to that of the primary regulating valve.
