  • Patent number: 8777363
Abstract: A transport method for transporting a long medium in a recording apparatus is performed using a transport control section. The transport control section performs, in a case where a first motor and a second motor are driven so as to transport a long sheet to the downstream side in a transport direction, prescribed processing that is different from the processing in a case where the deflection amount of the sheet becomes equal to or greater than a reference amount, in a case where the deflection amount of the sheet between a shaft member and a sending roller in the transport direction does not become equal to or greater than the reference amount.

Date of Patent: July 15, 2014
    Assignee: Seiko Epson Corporation

  • Patent number: 8628039
Abstract: A recording apparatus includes: a recording unit that performs recording on a recording medium wound on a roll, the roll including a first flange that is attached to one end and has a shaft hole and a first receiving portion, and a second flange that is attached to the other end and has a shaft hole; a first holder movable along a rotation axis of the roll, the first holder including a first shaft insertable into the shaft hole in the first flange, and a first flange-support surface that is in contact with an outer periphery of the first flange to support the first flange when the first shaft is not fitted in the shaft hole in the first flange and that has a first engaging portion; a second holder including a second shaft insertable into the shaft hole in the second flange.

  • Patent number: 8356894
Abstract: An ink jet recording apparatus includes a recording head which discharges ultraviolet curing inks toward a recording sheet while reciprocally moving in a reciprocal movement direction M crossing a transportation direction S of the recording sheet; and an ultraviolet irradiation head which irradiates ultraviolet rays toward the ultraviolet curing inks discharged from the recording head and attached to the recorded medium. The recording head includes a going recording head and a returning recording head which are disposed at the front and the back of the reciprocal movement direction M with respect to a region in which the ultraviolet irradiation head irradiates the ultraviolet rays to the recording sheet.

  • Patent number: 6568845
Abstract: A stationary mixing machine for mixing various fluid materials in a line. In a fluid path, a pair of mixing element portions 2 and 3 is concentrically arranged. At a surface formed by overlapping these mixing element portions 2 and 3, a respective fluid path is formed as mixing chambers 8 (13) at the both elements. These mixing chambers are peripherally, radially and concentrically, arranged. Fluid material flown from an opening 5 provided at a central portion of one of the mixing element portions 2 and 3 is flown in a radius direction, the juxtaposed mixing chambers in the adjacent rows can be communicated each other and a shearing stress is applied by providing a partition or a step so as to accomplish uniformly mixed and finely-dividing dispersing action.
