  • Patent number: 10071490
Abstract: Electric shaver includes body, head having blade block, and head supporting part connecting body with head. Head supporting part includes swing supporting part supporting head swingably about two swing axes, and head float part so that head is movable up and down with respect to body. This configuration allows head to swing about the two axes, and thus head easily follows undulations of skin. Head is movable up and down with respect to body, and thus head sinks with respect to body when head is strongly pressed against the skin. The aspect provides electric shaver that has a high follow-up performance of head swinging according to undulations of skin and hardly irritates the skin strongly.

  • Patent number: 8633410
Abstract: A switch is coupled to a switch support and includes a push button, a lock assembly, a tab, and a hook. The lock assembly includes an operation ring, which is rotated about the button between an unlock position to permit actuation of the button and a lock state to prohibit actuation of the button, and a lock ring, which is rotated integrally with the operation ring. When the operation ring is located at the lock position, the hook and the tab are arranged at the same position in a circumferential direction, which creates interference between the hook and the tab and blocks actuation of the button. When the operation ring is located at the unlock position, the hook and the tab are separated from each other in the circumferential direction, which avoids interference between the hook and the tab and permits actuation of the button.

  • Patent number: 8361241
Abstract: In a washing apparatus for washing a head portion of a depilation apparatus, it enables to increase design freedom of pipe arrangement from an overflow prevention unit to a washing fluid tank and to downsize the apparatus by effectively utilizing a space below the overflow prevention unit. A tray for holding a head portion of the electric shaver and an overflow preventing unit to maintain fluid level of the washing fluid in the tray at a predetermined level are integrally formed to adjoin each other via a partition wall in an anteroposterior direction of the washing apparatus. A bottom face of the overflow prevention unit is inclined downward in a widthwise direction of the washing apparatus, and an outlet is provided on a side wall in the widthwise direction in a deepest portion of the overflow prevention unit. A second exhausting path for exhausting the washing fluid from the outlet of the overflow preventing unit is arranged along a side wall of the tray.

  • Patent number: 8242744
Abstract: In a battery charger for charging a built-in secondary battery of a compact electric apparatus such as an electric shaver, an erroneous detection due to incomplete mounting of the compact electric apparatus on a mounting base is prevented with a simple and inexpensive configuration. A detection structure for detecting mounting of the compact electric apparatus on the mounting base comprises a charge contact member, a common contact member and a signal contact member which are electrically connected to a positive power source line, a negative power source line and a control signal line of the compact electric apparatus, respectively. A detection contact which electrically connects the signal contact member to the common contact member when the compact electric apparatus is not mounted on the mounting base is integrally formed on the signal contact member.
