  • Patent number: 7800719
Abstract: To provide a display which can improve viewing angle dependency of a contrast ratio at least in a specific azimuth without design change of a basic structure of a display element, limitation to white display state or black display state, and deterioration in display quality in other directions. The above-mentioned display is a display comprising: a display element with a contrast ratio dependent on a viewing angle; and an anisotropic scattering film having an anisotropic scattering layer, wherein the anisotropic scattering film is located on a viewing screen side of the display element and has a scattering central axis in substantially the same azimuth as an azimuth in which a contrast ratio of the display element in a direction inclined by a certain angle from a normal direction of a viewing screen of the display element has an extreme value.

  • Publication number: 20070190317
Abstract: An anisotropic scattering adhesive member in which the amount of linear transmitted light corresponding to the incident light entering into a resin layer has an incident angle dependence property, and the resin layer has an adhesion property, is provided. The anisotropic scattering adhesive member of the present invention has a resin layer having an adhesion property formed by curing a photo-curable resin composition, the glass transition temperature after the curing of the resin layer is in a range of ?85 to 0° C., and the amount of linear transmitted light corresponding to an incident light transmitted through the resin layer varies depending on the incident angle-of the incident light against the resin layer. In addition, refractive indexes of mutually adjacent cured areas formed in the resin layer are different.

  • Patent number: 7149032
Abstract: The present invention provides a Fresnel lens sheet capable of successfully avoiding the “collapse”, “abrasion” and “moiré” problems. A Fresnel lens sheet constitutes, together with a lenticular lens sheet, a rear projection screen, which is mounted in the frame of a rear projection type display. The Fresnel lens sheet includes, on one surface of its substrate, a Fresnel lens part containing a plurality of lenses concentrically formed on one plane. The apexes of the lenses situated in the area between the center and the outer edge of the Fresnel lens part are flattened to give flat faces, and the widths of the flat faces of the lenses on the outer edge side are made greater than the widths of the flat faces of the lenses on the center side. The widths of the flat faces of the lenses are from 0 to 30 ?m.

  • Publication number: 20060221451
Abstract: An anti-glare film is superior in low reflectivity and economy and balances conductivity, abrasion resistance, and contamination resistance. The anti-glare film has a transparent substrate, and at least a hard coat layer, a high refractive index layer, and a low refractive index layer provided on the transparent substrate, the high refractive index layer contains a radiation curable resin composition containing electroconductive inorganic ultrafine particles, and has a refractive index after curing of 1.6 to 1.8, the low refractive index layer contains fluorine containing polysiloxane, and has a refractive index after curing of 1.36 to 1.42, and the electroconductive inorganic ultrafine particle is at least one selected from tin oxide, indium tin oxide (ITO), and zinc oxide, and is contained at 75% or more by weight ratio in the high refractive index layer.
