Patent number: 12103364Abstract: An air discharge device includes a duct that defines a flow passage through which a working air flow to be discharged passes, and a hole forming member defining an air discharge hole as an outlet of the working air flow. The hole forming member has a vortex generation structure configured to generate an auxiliary vortex having a vortex characteristic including a vortex rotation direction and a vortex axis direction. The vortex characteristic of the auxiliary vortex is different from that of a lateral vortex generated by the working air flow at a downstream side of the air discharge hole. The vortex generation structure is configured in the hole forming member so that the auxiliary vortex collides with the lateral vortex in a state where at least one of the vortex rotation direction and the vortex axial direction of the vortex characteristic is different from that of the lateral vortex.Type: GrantFiled: October 7, 2020Date of Patent: October 1, 2024Assignee: DENSO CORPORATIONInventors: Jun Yamaoka, Masaharu Sakai, Yuuji Okamura, Shogo Hayakawa, Yasuki Omori, Satoshi Takotani, Takashi Kaneko, Marie Nagahama, Yasuhiko Niimi, Yusuke Komatsubara, Takahito Nakamura

Patent number: 6660924Abstract: In an automatic play apparatus for electronic music system, it is often desired to expand its function in universal and easy way. In this invention, at steps 100-140, the sequencer module records music performance data provided from an external device or it reproduces them. Sometimes it does both at the same time. In a series of processing at steps 100-140, the queue processing 200, 300 and 400 are introduced. In each queue processing, a part of the music performance data is memorized temporarily in Temporary Memory Area 200a, 300a and 400a, and the pointer, as an argument, corresponding to the memorized part of the music performance data is transferred to various plug-in programs which work as function expansion modules. The plug-in programs are thus enabled to read out the music performance data and write them, respectively from and in Temporary Memory Area 200a, 300a and 400a.Type: GrantFiled: July 31, 2002Date of Patent: December 9, 2003Assignee: Yamaha CorporationInventors: Yasuhiko Okamura, Gary Gregson, Kenichiro Saito

Patent number: 5563359Abstract: Plural electronic musical instruments are connected to a bidirectional communication network, and a controller is provided for each of the musical instruments for performing control such that tone control information possessed by the musical instruments can be shared between the musical instruments. A data base may further be connected to the communication network so that tone control information possessed by the data base can also be utilized in each of the musical instruments. If any of the musical instruments does not possess certain tone control information, the musical instrument is allowed to utilize the tone control information by receiving the information from another electronic musical instrument, via the communication network, which possesses the information.Type: GrantFiled: March 25, 1994Date of Patent: October 8, 1996Assignee: Yamaha CorporationInventor: Yasuhiko Okamura
