Abstract: A device treats carbon monoxide poisoning and includes a light emitter that emits light having a wavelength of 600 to 750 nm. A catheter includes a catheter body that has a distal end portion formed of a light-transmissive material and that includes a plurality of lumens; a light emitter that emits light having a wavelength of 600 to 750 nm to allow the light to exit through a first lumen from the distal end portion of the catheter body; a balloon that is disposed around a circumferential surface of the distal end portion, that is in communication with a second lumen, and that guides the distal end portion to downstream blood flow in an inflated state; and a pressure sensor that is disposed at the distal end of the distal end portion and that is connected to a cable inserted through a third lumen.
