    Abstract: A deterioration degree diagnosis device includes a measurement unit and a diagnosis unit. The measurement unit measures an impedance related to a contact resistance of an electrical connection portion by measuring an AC voltage between metal members and an AC current flowing between the metal members in a state where an AC signal of a predetermined frequency is applied to an electric circuit that connects two metal members in contact via the electrical connection portion. The diagnosis unit diagnoses a deterioration degree of the electrical connection portion based on a reactance component value in the impedance measured by the measurement unit.

    Abstract: A sheet pressure sensor includes a first fiber layer, a second fiber layer, and a third fiber layer provided between the first and second fiber layers. The third fiber layer has connecting yarns that electrically connect first conductive portions of the first fiber layer and the second conductive portion in the second fiber layer with a predetermined electric resistivity. The sheet pressure sensor further includes a measuring instrument for measuring electric resistance between at least one of the first conductive portions and the second conductive portion. The connecting yarns unstrain due to deformation of the first or second conductive portion which is generated by applied pressure, and then are short-circuited with one of them. The sheet pressure sensor can detect the pressure while keeping air ventilation characteristic by giving a pressure detection function to the fiber layers.

The third fiber layer includes functional layers each constituted of connecting yarns and non-functional layers arranged to insulate each of the functional layers from others of the functional layers. The controller applies voltage between the first and second conductive portions to heat the connecting yarns. According to the heater, a desired temperature distribution can be created on the heater by applying the voltage selectively to one target segment composed of the first conductive portion, the functional layer and the second conductive portion.

    Abstract: Heart rates of the driver are recorded at a deceleration start time when a vehicle in a travelling state starts to decelerate and stop. The heart rates within a predetermined period recorded before the deceleration start time by the biological information record unit are referred to, and a pre-deceleration heart rate which is a representative value of the referred heart rates is extracted. Furthermore, the heart rates within a predetermined period recorded after the deceleration start time by the biological information record unit are referred to and a post-deceleration heart rate which is a representative value of the referred heart rates is extracted. Then, the pre-deceleration biological information and the post-deceleration biological information extracted by the biological information extraction unit are compared with each other to estimate the steady state of the driver after deceleration.
