  • Patent number: 6447197
Abstract: In an automobile steering device, a mounting structure is provided for attaching a locking collar having a cancel cam to the hub of a cable reel rotor. The cancel cam is used to automatically deactivate a turn signal switch while it is blinking. The cable reel provides a housing for cable. The cable reel includes a casing attached to a rotor having an inner hub. In an annular hollow area between the casing and the rotor, a flat cable is spirally housed, and the flat cable is wound or rewound in the hollow area in accordance with reciprocal rotation of the rotor which corresponds to steering wheel movement. During the assembly process (i.e. attachment of locking collar to the rotor), it is important that the cancel cam is aligned, or clocked, to a specific radial position with respect to the rotor. There is provided a mounting structure which positively prevents erroneous connections between the locking collar and rotor.

  • Patent number: 6364079
Abstract: There is provided a means for improving the form of a cable reel in which a combination switch fixing area is made integral in form. An opening is provided in a portion of a peripheral wall on a fixed case of the cable reel. A connector housing is unitarily provided with a combination switch fixing area is provided on a bottom wall at the bottom of the opening. A welding area between a flat cable of a connector is connected with the exposed conductor of a flat cable, and a bus-bar is positioned on the opening. A welding area between the bus-bar and the cable is interfitted and mounted in the connector housing, and then the opening of peripheral wall of the fixing case is covered with a cover, which is then made continuous with the peripheral wall with the cover having the same curvature as that of the peripheral wall.

  • Publication number: 20020032041
Abstract: A phone holder for holding a mobile phone in a connected state with a holder connector. The phone holder has a fixed casing and a movable casing. The movable casing is mounted with the holder connector and formed with a hollow portion therein. The movable casing is mounted on the fixed casing and is settable between a housed position and a detachable position. When set at the detachable position, the hollow portion of the movable casing is accessible to enable insertion of the mobile phone in the movable casing in the connecting direction with the holder connector.

  • Patent number: 6332793
Abstract: A fixed case of a cable reel having a bolt hole perpendicular to an axis is formed without using a slide-type mold, by providing a first groove, which has a U-shaped notch opening from a lower end side of a mounting seat. The mounting seat is formed as a step in a radial direction from the area of the lower end of a fixed wall area and protrudes downwards along the direction of an axis from a peripheral wall of a fixed case. A step area covers an opening of a lower end side of the first groove, and a second groove has a U-shaped notch opening from an upper end side onto the step area. A bolt hole is formed in a direction perpendicular to an axis having an inner perpendicular surface of which the total periphery is closed by the first groove and the second groove. The bolt hole is formed by mating molds from the upper and lower sides and having a mold separating face at the center of the bolt hole.

  • Patent number: 6162087
Abstract: Anti-skid protrusions 26 and 27 are formed on the inside of a rubber boot 20 which fits on the smooth external surface of an electrical connector housing 10. Since the connector housing 10 has no molded supports for the boot, production cost is reduced.

  • Patent number: 6097810
Abstract: This invention relates to a phone holder. The phone holder includes a holder main body with an outer box. The holder main body is provided with movable members such as side walls which are movable in a direction orthogonal to a direction of inserting a mobile phone. The position of the movable members is adjusted by a position adjuster such as a screw shaft.
