  • Patent number: 10495177
Abstract: A solenoid valve includes a main valve having a valve seat and a main valve body configured to open or close a main flow passage, a pilot passage that branches from the main flow passage, an orifice provided in the pilot passage, a back-pressure chamber configured to bias the main valve body to a closing direction by virtue of an internal pressure, a pilot valve configured to control an internal pressure of the back-pressure chamber, and a solenoid configured to control a valve opening pressure of the pilot valve. There is a time difference between a valve opening timing of the main valve and a valve opening timing of the pilot valve such that the valve opening timing of the main valve is delayed from the valve opening timing of the pilot valve.

  • Publication number: 20180203714
Abstract: According to an embodiment, a virtual environment execution apparatus executes a virtual machine. A storage unit stores data in an non-volatile manner. When an instruction to put the virtual machine into a power-saving mode is received, a storage control unit causes data stored in a virtualized memory of the virtual machine to be stored in the storage unit. When an instruction to resume the virtual machine is received, a memory control unit retrieves the data that was previously caused to be stored in the storage unit by the storage control unit and stores the retrieved data in the virtualized memory.

  • Publication number: 20170268595
Abstract: A damping valve includes a valve disc, a ring-shaped leaf valve, and a biasing mechanism. The valve disc includes a passage and a valve seat. The valve seat surrounds an exit end of the passage. The leaf valve is stacked on the valve disc. The leaf valve separates from and is seated on the valve seat to open and close the passage. The biasing mechanism causes a variable biasing force to act on the leaf valve to the valve disc side. The entire leaf valve is configured to axially retreat with respect to the valve disc. A clearance is formed between the leaf valve and the valve seat in a state in which the leaf valve is stacked on the valve disc with no load.

  • Patent number: 6736863
Abstract: A dyeing method for dyeing a plastic lens, a plastic lens obtained by use of the dyeing method, and a dyeing system, a dyeing device, and a dyeing jig for a plastic lens are disclosed. The method includes a producing step of producing a print base body on which a print area is printed with a sublimatable dye by a printer under control of a computer, the printer being previously supplied with the dye; a placing step of placing the print base body and a lens to be dyed so that the print area on the base body is brought into nearly close contact with a lens surface to be dyed; and a transferring step of heating at least the print base body to sublimate the sublimatable dye of the print area, thereby transferring the dye to the lens surface to be dyed.

  • Patent number: 6629262
Abstract: A command from a host computer is held in a command holding section, and commands set in a register are referenced to determine whether or not the held command involves data transfer. If the command involves data transfer, a switching signal output section outputs switching identifying signals SX and SY to a command switching section. Thus, the command involves data transfer, control is provided by a hardware configuration without using a CPU. Alternatively, when the command involves no data transfer, the switching signal output section outputs an interrupt to the CPU. The CPU interprets the command held in the command holding section to output the switching identifying signals SX and SY to the command switching section.

  • Patent number: 5758053
Abstract: Parallel processors communicate with each other over a network by transmitting messages that include destination processor information. A message controller for each processor in the network receives the messages and checks for faults in the message, particularly in the destination processor number contained in a first word of the message. If a fault occurs in the destination processor number, then the faulty message is transmitted to an appropriate processor for handling the fault. In this way the network operation is not suspended because of the fault and the message is not left in the network as a result of the error occurring in the destination processor number. The processor to which the faulty message is directed is determined by a substitute destination processor number contained in the message or is predetermined and set in another way, such as by a service processor.
