  • Publication number: 20200271155
Abstract: To provide a deep groove ball bearing used under a lean lubrication condition or a non-lubrication condition, the deep groove ball bearing being capable of achieving a long lifetime without generating break of a retainer due to delay and progress of balls. The deep groove ball bearing includes an inner ring, an outer ring, a plurality of balls interposed between the inner ring and the outer ring, and a riveted corrugate steel plate retainer that retains the balls, the deep groove ball bearing being used under a lean lubrication condition or a non-lubrication condition. The retainer includes a fluroresin coating film having a thickness of 15 ?m or more formed on at least a raceway surface of the inner ring or the outer ring, or an inner portion of the retainer slid on the balls. The fluororesin coating film is preferably formed of a baked polytetrafluoroethylene resin or the like.

  • Patent number: 8596877
Abstract: A tapered roller bearing includes a retainer with a protrusion that is axially brought into engagement with a flange of the inner race. The inner race has a flange for guiding the tapered rollers only at the large-diameter end of the raceway. The retainer has on the large-diameter side thereof a protrusion radially inwardly extending and axially engaging the flange of the inner race. The flange of the inner race is formed with a circumferentially continuous cutout groove having a smoothly curved concave surface through which the radially outer surface and the outer end surface of the flange are connected to each other. The protrusion of the retainer has its inner side at its radially inner end portion in engagement with the cutout groove, allowing size reduction and load bearing capacity increase for the tapered roller bearing, while preventing stress concentration on the flange of the inner race.

  • Patent number: 8439574
Abstract: A tapered roller bearing includes an outer ring, an inner ring, a tapered roller interposed between the outer ring and the inner ring, and a cage holding the tapered roller. The tapered roller bearing is for being used in an idler portion of an automobile transmission that switches between an idle state in which the outer ring rotates freely in relation to the inner ring and a shift state in which the outer ring rotates synchronously with the inner ring. In one embodiment, the tapered roller bearing has a ratio of roller dynamic load rating Cr to static load rating Cor of Cor/Cr?1.4. In an alternative embodiment, MoS2 processing is performed on a surface of the tapered roller and the tapered roller bearing has a ratio of roller dynamic load rating Cr to static load rating Cor of Cor/Cr?1.3.

  • Patent number: 8226300
Abstract: A tapered roller bearing is capable of suppressing the occurrence of fretting without shortening its fatigue life. The tapered roller bearing includes an outer race, an inner race, a plurality of taper rollers interposed between the outer race and the inner race, and a retainer for retaining the tapered rollers. The tapered roller bearing is used in an idler portion of an automobile transmission, which is interchanged between an idle state in which the outer race idles with respect to the inner race and a shift state in which the outer race and the inner race are rotated synchronously with each other. A ratio of ?/??4.9 is established on a premise that an outer-race raceway surface angle is 2? and a roller angle is ?.

  • Publication number: 20100322548
Abstract: A tapered roller bearing of the type having a protrusion on the retainer that is axially brought into engagement with the flange of the inner race is provided, wherein no stress concentration occurs on the flange of the inner race, which guide the tapered rollers and which is small and has a large load bearing capacity. The inner race 2 has a flange 6 for guiding the tapered rollers 4 only at the large-diameter end of the raceway 2a. The retainer 5 has on the large-diameter side thereof a protrusion 7 radially inwardly extending and axially engaging the flange 6 of the inner race 2.

  • Publication number: 20100322547
Abstract: A tapered roller bearing includes an outer ring 23, an inner ring 22, a tapered roller 24 interposed between the outer ring 23 and the inner ring 22, and a cage 25 holding the tapered roller 24. The tapered roller bearing is used in an idler portion of an automobile transmission that switches between an idle state in which the outer ring 23 rotates freely in relation to the inner ring 22 and a shift state in which the outer ring 23 rotates synchronously with the inner ring 22. The tapered roller bearing includes a fretting suppressing means configured by a ratio of dynamic load rating Cr to static load rating Cor being set to Cor/Cr?1.4.
