  • Publication number: 20150008612
Abstract: A brake hose 10 is produced by: an inner tube rubber forming step of extrusion molding a rubber tubular body 12A to form an inner tube rubber layer 12; a braiding step of forming a reinforcing yarn layer 13 on the rubber tubular body 12A to produce a braided hose body 12C; and an outer surface rubber forming step of coating the braided hose body with an outer surface rubber material to form an outer surface rubber layer 20. The outer surface rubber forming step heats the braided hose body 12C such that surface temperature Th of the braided hose body 12C is equal to or higher than 50° C. and coats the braided hose body 12C with the outer surface rubber material under an atmosphere set to a lower pressure than the atmospheric pressure, which is equal to or lower than 0.8 atmospheres, in a region where the braided hose body 12C is to be coated with the outer surface rubber material.

  • Publication number: 20050064484
Abstract: A visual interface that allows a user to designate intuitively a two-dimensional sequence suitable for a target sequence for a functional nucleic acid is provided. Secondary structure data of a target mRNA is displayed on a screen, and various information such as characteristic sequences to be effectively influenced by the functional nucleic acid, binding sites for protein motifs, and UTRs are displayed on the secondary structure. A target site of the functional nucleic acid is designated by the user with a pointing device, and the intuitive determination of a most suitable sequence is supported by repeating the design of the functional nucleic acid.

  • Patent number: 4616729
Abstract: An off the road motorcycle having a balloon tired rear wheel that is suspended by a trailing arm and which is driven by a pair of flexible transmitters, one positioned closer to the motorcycle center line than the other so as to provide clearance for the rider's feet. An arrangement is provided for adjusting the tension in each of the two chains and one of these adjusting mechanisms moves the pivot point of the trailing arm relative to the frame.

  • Patent number: 4117665
Abstract: In an electronic timepiece, a baseplate having a pair of opposed major surfaces, a magnetic shield plate disposed in continuous contact with one of the major surfaces and a stator disposed on the other of the major surfaces. A pin is inserted through the magnetic shield plate, baseplate and stator and includes a head portion bearing against the magnetic shield plate, and is engaged by a screw having a head bearing against the stator for fixing the shield plate, baseplate and stator between the head portion and the screw head. The shield plate includes an inwardly sloped aperture for receiving the head portion of the pin, and the head portion has a tapered peripheral surface complementary to the inwardly sloped surface of the aperture. The head portion is thinner than the shield plate and does not protrude beyond a surface of the shield plate, and because the shield plate is in continuous contact with the base plate it is not deformed by the head portion of the pin bearing thereagainst.
